For local residents and travelers exploring the scenic corridors of Lycoming County, this campground is often described as a "diamond in the rough." The property is designed to maximize the riverfront experience, with many sites offering direct views of the water and easy access for fishing or boating. Because it is a smaller, family-run facility, it maintains a quiet and clean environment where the sounds of the river and the rustle of the trees take precedence over the hum of traffic or loud entertainment systems. Tom the owner of the campground was super accommodating. Not many campgrounds in this area so finding this place was a diamond in the rough. He found a spot for us immediately assisted with parking and the daily rate was very reasonable. Would definitely return, if we were in the area again.

Coast to coast road trip with my husband— gem of a spot. Wild strawberries galore. Clean, quiet, very affordable. Beautiful lake view. Camp host was extremely knowledgeable made sure we set up camp in a safe area since there are lots of trees over head. (We are minimal and only tent camping) showers are out due to state covid regulations, not a problem for us tho! (We have a pop up shower) Barb was also the camp host there, she quiet literally offered me her jacket for extra warmth. Fortunately I came prepared for the cold, but still just a Sweet lady! We appreciate you and the beautiful land you allow camping on! Safe travels

Wanted to stay here but they dont like taking reservations. They dont like you to ask to many questions or tell you how much the price is or amenities are. I finally got him to try to take reservation as I wanted 2 weeks and he told me the price then I asked my husband a question and he said I was trying to change the date I originally said. We were thinking of staying longer. That is ok. I found just 5 min down the road 275.00 per week with full hooks which is less than than he ended up quoting. It sounds like they have regulars that just show up and dont need me.

It's a dump. Roads are full of potholes. No shower in either bathhouse. Can't even fill soda machine on holiday weekend. Run down buildings everywhere. Bathhouse very unsanitary. No playground or game room
