Alpine Meadow Lakes is worth choosing for the traveler who values the rare combination of a "back-to-basics" nature experience and a well-managed, secure environment. In a world where many campgrounds can feel chaotic, the disciplined management style here ensures that "quiet hours" and safety protocols are respected, allowing you to truly relax and hear the wind through the trees. Furthermore, the location is a significant draw for local Pennsylvanians who want to explore the wider Endless Mountains region. Being just ten minutes away from Route 6 and close to major scenic overlooks and 4-wheel trails means that Alpine Meadow Lakes serves as a perfect "base camp" for more extensive exploration. Whether you are taking a slow walk around the lake, enjoying a family picnic under the pavilion, or visiting the nearby mountain springs, you are experiencing the best of Bradford County. For families seeking a wholesome, spacious, and beautiful place to spend their summers, Alpine Meadow Lakes stands out as a premier choice that honors the traditional spirit of Pennsylvania camping.

We absolutely love going there for relaxation, fishing, swimming, or just a nice walk around the lake. The manager, Betty, is such a nice woman who can be strict but with good intentions. She keeps the place safe and well maintained. We have been going there for years and will continue to for years to come.
