We’ve been camping at Aqua Vista Campground in Petersburgh, NY for 6 years now with my wife and our two kids (now 5 and 7), and we absolutely love it! This place truly feels like a second home for our family. The campground is beautiful, peaceful, and very family-friendly, with plenty of space for the kids to play and explore. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about keeping everything clean and well maintained. It’s the perfect spot to relax, make memories, and enjoy the outdoors together. My husband and I have been seasonal campers here for 5 years. We have met lifetime friends who we get together with in the winter. The staff is friendly and the owner is always willing to help if you have a problem. I am always excited in the spring to go back to aqua vista to see my camp family. The activities are fun for the young and not so young. Halloween is our favorite. Aqua vista is our second home

It is a family friendly campground with plenty of activities for children and adults alike. There is ice cream social, kids bingo, arts and crafts, hay rides, slip and slide, playground with the giant movie screen for weekly movies, new Gaga pit, rock n roll bingo, dances weekly and special events including Christmas in July, Teen weekend, golf cart parades for special occasions, pool parties, dice run, red neck olympics, horseshoe tournaments, and carnival. Weather you come for a night, weekend or stay for the season It is a great place for family to have a great time. There is also a fully stocked store, a laundromat and game room. and the best part is activities are rarely to never cancelled

Not family friendly at all. A group of teenagers will bully others, to the point of making my 9 year old nephew cry. The next day same group of boys still bothering my nephew while he stays quite and unprovoked. We couldn’t even enjoy a hay ride with my 3 year old nephew because the teens were uncontrollable and talking crazy to the adults. The owner than screamed in my face and repeatedly used curse words but kicked me out because I “cursed” I grew up since I was 10 years old at this camp ground so the disappointment and the disrespect is beyond unbelievable. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMP GROUND TO ANY ONE WITH SMALLER CHILDREN. They will go by on the hay ride screaming mean things with no parental guidance. Again very disappointed, and also never issued a refund for the 2 nights left on our double site. Do not waste your money
