I visited this campground with my friend Dobromila and I must say that Camp Taylor is truly a hidden gem! The campground is beautifully kept, spacious, and surrounded by nature, which makes it such a peaceful and relaxing escape. The lake is absolutely stunning — perfect for sitting by the water, kayaking, or just soaking in the view. It really adds to the whole experience of being away from the hustle and bustle. The cabins were wonderful — clean, cozy, and comfortable, with just the right mix of rustic charm and modern convenience. They felt private yet still close enough to enjoy everything the campground has to offer. The staff deserves a special mention too. They were so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and keeping the campground a special place.Overall, Camp Taylor is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature, relax by the lake, and stay in cabins that feel like a home away from home. I can’t wait to come back and make even more memories here!

Went here to visit the wolf sanctuary.Beautiful campground and would love to stay here since it seems the owner enforces the rules! All the rules are for the peacefulness of camping, and the environment and the animals that live there! All the bad reviews seem to be from people who think the rules dont apply to them then they give a Beautiful campground a ridiculous review based on their bad behavior and the reaction that followed. Thank you campground Taylor for enforcing the rules for the good of all!

Super clean facility! Sites are quiet and more secluded with lots of room. People are friendly and nice and helpful. Feels like you're alone in the woods which is the whole point of camping ❤️ swimming lake was great. Grounds are spacious and have activities to do and playgrounds! Definitely coming back for more adventures

I don't have much experience in the campground field but I loved this place as soon as we pulled in and headed toward our site. Beautiful, not on top of each other. Super clean restrooms near by, 30 second walk and your there. 24 hour showers also very clean. Beautiful lake to take the kiddos swimming. We were very happy.

We did tent camping at Camp Taylor Campground 2 weeks ago. This hidden gem of a Campground is positively under rated! The staff are professional, courteous and attentive. They offer trash pick up at your site and they even have recycling. The bathrooms are reminiscent of the camps of yesteryear, but cleaned frequently and kept nice. The camp store is not overpriced and even sells frozen lemonade drinks, which was an appreciated and special treat on a hot day. There are black bears, fox, deer, birds, squirrels, possums, chipmunks, etc., because this is a real campground out in the woods, not a koa or camping resort. Heck, if you want to see wolves, you can see them too, but they are up the mountain at the Lakota Wolf Preserve, which happens to be on the same Campground. Pre-booked tours leave from the camp office twice daily. (Also highly recommended!) If you want to see and be in nature, this is where you want to go. It is quiet and serene, and the sites are spacious AND well spaced, so you don't feel crowded in by neighbors. As for the neighbors, it was a low key crowd, at least when we were there. Everyone was friendly without being intrusive. No wild, rowdy groups, just couples and family groups. I never felt unsafe walking around. We had a great experience and will certainly camp there again this summer.
