Situated in the charming town of Clinton, this community serves as a viable housing alternative for individuals and families who appreciate the coastal lifestyle without the high entry costs often associated with traditional real estate in Middlesex County. As a professionally managed all-age community, it provides a structured environment where residents can own their homes while benefiting from communal infrastructure and professional oversight. The park-like setting is designed to offer a peaceful atmosphere that reflects the natural beauty of the New England landscape.

Evergreen Springs is more than just a place to reside; it is a gateway to the diverse attractions of the Connecticut coast. Residents find themselves in a region known for its historic charm, vibrant arts scene, and recreational opportunities. Whether you are a long-term local or looking to relocate within the state, understanding the specific layout and management of a manufactured home community is essential. This establishment operates both as a mobile home park and a mobile home dealer, meaning they often have new or pre-owned models available for those looking to transition into this style of living. The community emphasizes a family-friendly environment, supported by its proximity to a quality school district and various local parks.

The community is located at 229 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton, CT 06413, USA. This positioning is highly advantageous for commuters and explorers alike, as it sits on Route 81, providing a direct link to the interior of the state while remaining only minutes away from the shoreline. Accessibility is a key feature of the property, which includes wheelchair accessible entrances and a wheelchair accessible parking lot to accommodate all residents and visitors. For those who rely on public transportation, the area is served by local bus routes that facilitate travel to surrounding towns and essential services.

Proximity to major landmarks is a significant draw for Evergreen Springs. It is located just a few miles from the popular Hammonasset Beach State Park, offering residents easy access to the largest shoreline park in Connecticut. Additionally, the community is close to the Clinton Premium Outlets, Chamard Vineyards, and the Clinton Art Gallery, ensuring that shopping, dining, and cultural enrichment are always within reach. The surrounding towns of Madison and Westbrook are also easily accessible, providing further options for groceries at Big Y World Class Market or entertainment at local theaters.

When evaluating housing options in Connecticut, Evergreen Springs is worth choosing for its strategic balance of location and lifestyle. For many, the ability to live within minutes of the Long Island Sound while maintaining a manageable monthly budget is the primary motivation. Unlike traditional home ownership, which involves significant land taxes and maintenance costs, the land-lease model at Evergreen Springs allows residents to focus their investments on the home itself. This can lead to a higher quality of interior living—such as updated kitchens and spacious layouts—at a fraction of the cost of a site-built home in the same area.

Furthermore, the community aspect of Evergreen Springs is worth choosing for those who value safety and social connection. The neighborhood is designed to be walkable and inclusive, with regular events that allow neighbors to meet and build relationships. While recent feedback from long-term residents has highlighted the importance of consistent management and tree maintenance following storms, the community remains a staple of the Clinton housing market. For those who prioritize being near the water and want a "home base" that is close to the Garden State's recreational hubs, Evergreen Springs provides a structured, accessible, and friendly environment to call home.

As someone who has lived here over ten years, this last storm proved that management is no longer taking care of tree maintenence (or anything else really). The number of trees that came down speaks for itself, but the fact that they have not been cleaned up yet speaks to current management and their lack of motivation overall. We pay enough to live here, there shouldn't be trees decaying across yards throughout the entire park. Take care of it, its been a month. Not to mention it looks like the empty lots will soon have new trailers on them.... wouldn't want to move in if I were looking at homes and there are still trees that haven't been taken care of. Not a good look, and its a safety hazard.

Lot fees are absolutely outrageous I’ve seen other parks in the area paying a fraction of the cost and they have a club house and a pool I ask about fencing a small area for my dog and get told no fences aren’t allowed but yet I drive through the park and see at least 2 other yards with half if not more of the yard fenced in you would think that with fees of almost $1000 a month we would be able to do something and not to mention wanting to send notice after notice but don’t take into consideration that some people don’t have the time because they have to work 2 or more jobs just to pay the outrageous fees

I have lived in this mobile home park since 1974. While living here, we have lived in 3 different homes, and raised 3 daughters. I have a lot of things I can say bad about the management, but I will let you determine that with your own experience. If this might be a choice that will allow you to do what we have done, then why should I scare you away? So, three homes, all paid off early, and all done during tough economic times. We never starved, always had a roof over our heads, had multiple vehicles, made ends meet, and have never been evicted. Regardless of what you consider good or bad, we managed to make a living, raise a family, and as soon as I can locate a buyer, we will be relocating to The Mountains of Southwestern North Carolina, and will be living in a brand-new Log Home, which is already paid for and soon to be under construction. Paid for in cash, in this, what may be the worst economic time in the history of this country, thanks in entirely to the mismanagement by the Biden administration. In less than two years this fool has squandered a lifetime of successful administrations that improved the lives of all Americans. So, as the old saying goes, if you live right, work hard, and save, you will change your life for the better. Notwithstanding the ideocracy of the Biden administration, my family has managed to do just that. We have paid off all our debts, have paid off all our loans and car payments, paid cash for the land, the downpayment on the new Log Home, and will upon delivery pay cash for the home, and the assembly and finish work required. To anyone that might somehow purchase my home, , know that it was never easy, always hard, and always worth it!

i cannot believe i moved my mother into this place. if you want to enjoy your life, do not move here. she gets worked up to tears regularly and pays rent on time. the landlords here have no soul or compassion whatsoever.UPDATE June 24, 2020 - They tried to evict my mother during the Covid-19 outbreak. If it wasnt for my lawyer threatening to sue them, she'd have been evicted and homeless. She was one week late twice on rent, due to unemployment taking awhile (again, Covid). They do not care at all. They are literally soulless, horrible people who do not care about your wellbeing at all.
