The incredible views of the Southern Tier valleys alone are worth the visit, providing a sense of scale and beauty that recharges the spirit. It is a place for campers who appreciate the rugged, natural side of New York and don't mind a little grass under their feet in exchange for a quiet, friendly, and affordable stay.
Furthermore, Gardner Hill is a fantastic choice for families seeking an active yet affordable getaway. Between the petting zoo, the pool, and the nearby historical sites, there is always something to occupy the kids while parents relax by the fire. The recent upgrades to the bathhouses and the move toward year-round availability show a commitment to resident comfort and growth. The people who own this property are very inviting and very friendly. They have a nice beautiful place to stay at a moment's notice and the view is incredible. Highly recommend for any family or people who want to camp and have an adventure.
worst place to camp because there is no gravel underneath your trailer or around your area so you can enjoy your stay you will be worried about getting dirt inside your camper I would not consider this as a park.Worst place to park a camper or RV the place does not have gravel to park a trailer you are parking on grass / dirt to me it looks like they don't have the time or money that you pay them to park your rig/ trail to have a nice gravel park I heard that they are going stay open this winter but do not know how campers could come here with out get stuck in the winter or any condition of rain this picture you will see what I am talking about
May not be 5 star, but very nice place and owners. I would suggest not going up Jerusalem Hill way, very steep and curvy, especially with a camper.
CAST OF CCC'S Theatre groups "PERCY JACKSON, & THE LIGHTENING BOLT THIEF" Reunion, get together with fabulous friends, family and a little side game of pool or 2, in the rec center here.
I recently stayed at Gardner Hill for nearly a week. Accessibility to the location is good - the road that the campground sits on is a little unsettling with a motorhome as the road is narrow and the drop off on the sides is very steep - so coming up on another vehicle can be a test of fate - however, it is a very quiet road and I only encountered oncoming vehicles a couple of times. The weather was dry the whole time we were there, so we didn't encounter issues regarding mud. Yes, other reviews are correct that there are no stone pads, but this did not affect our stay. What affected our stay was the incredible views, quiet environment, and sincere hospitality. A+ service!!
