I’ve camped at Hosack Run Campground multiple times over the past couple of years, and it’s hands-down my favorite spot to camp in PA. The campground is clean, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and unplug. The sites have a great sense of privacy, and the facilities are excellent — bathrooms, showers, and sinks are always well-maintained, which makes the stay that much more comfortable.Between the peaceful atmosphere, the convenience of the amenities, and the natural beauty all around, Hosack Run is truly a gem. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
3 nights under the stars! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful surroundings. We're AT section hikers and this location is close to numerous trailheads.
It was our first time here and we loved it! Surprisingly quiet for a (pets allowed) campground. The bathrooms were clean, the available firewood and ice were reasonably priced. You can pick a site with or without electricity and water. Each site was conveniently close by the bath and showers. There is a playground for kids and some trails close by. See pictures for firewood and ice pricing.
Lovely campground. The sites are very close to each other, and the shared bathroom and showers were very clean and stocked with toilet paper. They have firewood and ice at the front of the camp grounds with a useful dumpster. We used the camp grounds to visit and tour the Gettysburg area. We had a delightful stay and enjoyed our time at the campsites. If you found this review helpful, please give a 👍
