Hospitality Creek Campground Introduce

For families residing in New Jersey, finding an outdoor escape that balances rustic nature with modern resort-style amenities is a perennial goal. Hospitality Creek Campground, located in Williamstown, has served as a cornerstone of South Jersey recreation since 1961. Spanning over 90 acres in the heart of the Pinelands, this campground is a family-owned and operated facility that has evolved into one of the region's most popular "camp-resorts." It is designed to provide more than just a place to park an RV; it offers a comprehensive summer experience where the focus is on water-based activities, community engagement, and creating lasting memories for multiple generations of Garden State residents.

Originally established as a swim club and traditional campground, Hospitality Creek has recently transitioned into a Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort, further enhancing its reputation as a premier destination for kid-friendly entertainment. This shift has brought new infrastructure and a robust schedule of themed activities, yet the core appeal—its massive 30-acre lake and pristine swimming facilities—remains the primary draw for local visitors. Whether you are a "seasonal" camper who spends the entire summer on-site or a weekend warrior looking for a quick retreat from the suburban sprawl, the campground provides a professional and friendly environment that captures the spirit of the New Jersey outdoors.

Location and accessibility are among the greatest advantages for those living in the Delaware Valley or the Jersey Shore regions. Situated at 3606 Old Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, NJ 08094, USA, the campground is strategically positioned near major thoroughfares including Route 42 and the Atlantic City Expressway. For residents of Philadelphia, it is a short 30-minute drive, while those coming from the Atlantic City area can reach the gates in approximately 40 minutes. This makes it an ideal "staycation" spot for South Jersey locals who want to feel deep in the woods without enduring hours of travel. The facility prioritizes inclusivity, offering a wheelchair-accessible entrance, dedicated parking lots, and accessible restroom facilities to ensure all guests can enjoy the grounds comfortably.

Services at Hospitality Creek are comprehensive, reflecting its status as a full-service camp-resort. The management provides onsite services that simplify the camping experience, allowing families to focus on relaxation rather than logistics. The campground offers a variety of site types to accommodate different equipment, from massive 65-foot RV rigs to traditional tent setups. For those who prefer a more "glamping" style experience, luxury cabin rentals are available, featuring amenities such as full kitchens, private bathrooms, and screened-in porches. The park also operates as a swim club, offering seasonal memberships for local residents who wish to use the aquatic facilities without staying overnight.

Services offered at Hospitality Creek Campground include:

  • Full-hookup RV sites with 30 and 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections.
  • Dedicated tent camping areas for a more traditional outdoor experience.
  • Luxury cabin rentals with modern conveniences including air conditioning and private decks.
  • On-site camp store well-stocked with firewood, ice, snacks, and camping essentials.
  • Professional snack bar and dining options serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Laundry facilities and clean public restrooms with hot showers.
  • Propane refilling station and a sanitary dump station for RV travelers.
  • Firewood and ice delivery directly to individual campsites.
  • Acceptance of multiple payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments.

The highlights and features of this Williamstown staple are heavily focused on aquatic recreation and organized family fun. The 30-acre lake is often cited as one of the finest freshwater habitats in the state, offering exceptional fishing for largemouth bass. For swimmers, the facility boasts an Olympic-sized pool and a separate activity pool that is a hit with children. The recent expansion includes a floating obstacle course on the lake, water slides, and interactive splash zones. Beyond the water, the park features sports courts and themed weekends that turn a standard camping trip into a festive event.

Features and highlights of the facility include:

  • A 30-acre spring-fed lake featuring a sandy beach, diving docks, and a floating Wibit obstacle course.
  • Two large swimming pools, including a leisure pool and a dedicated children's activity pool with lifeguards.
  • Rental options for canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats for exploring the lake.
  • Extensive recreational facilities including a basketball court, volleyball court, and horseshoe pits.
  • Four separate children's playgrounds equipped with slides, swings, and climbing structures.
  • A jumping pillow and gem mining station for unique kid-friendly entertainment.
  • A 2-mile nature trail winding through the scenic Pinelands for hiking and birdwatching.
  • Planned weekend activities ranging from live concerts and foam parties to appearances by Yogi Bear characters.
  • Themed events such as "Christmas in July" and "Halloween Spooktaculars" held throughout the season.

For those interested in booking a site or inquiring about swim club memberships, the campground can be reached through the following contact details:

When considering "what is worth choosing" at Hospitality Creek, the waterfront RV sites are arguably the most coveted option. These sites allow campers to enjoy the tranquil views of the lake directly from their doorstep and even fish from the shoreline of their own site. For families with children, choosing to visit during a themed weekend is highly recommended, as the sheer volume of organized activities ensures that younger guests are constantly engaged. It is also worth choosing as a seasonal destination; many New Jersey locals maintain a permanent spot here because it offers a secure, gated community where children can ride bikes safely and families can build long-term friendships with their neighbors.

While the proximity to the highway means there is some ambient road noise, the trade-off is unparalleled convenience and a high standard of maintenance that is difficult to find elsewhere in South Jersey. The facility is meticulously kept, with staff frequently seen delivering wood or tending to the landscaping. For those who want the full "resort" experience, the premium cabins are an excellent investment, providing a hotel-like level of comfort while remaining immersed in the camping atmosphere. Whether you are there for the bass fishing, the Olympic-sized pool, or a Saturday night concert at the pavilion, Hospitality Creek Campground offers a factual, friendly, and high-energy retreat that remains a top choice for New Jersey outdoor lovers.

Would you like me to help you find the specific schedule for the upcoming themed weekends or provide more information on the seasonal swim club membership rates?

My family loved our vacation to hospitality creek campground, everyone was extremely friendly and the campground is well maintained. I am definitely going to make this a frequent camping trip! Love to watch all of the wildlife and listening to the frogs at night by the campfire! Very memorable!

Campground has a pretty nice setup. They maintain most things well. Don't like the fact the area is open to the public. Makes for a crowded experience. See photos. Rules are smug and pompous. See photos. Most spots are seasonal or rentals. Only a handful of spots for short-term visitors. Expect a lot of highway noise as it's next to a major road.

One of my favorite campgrounds. Stayed here many times when it was hospitality creek. Now Yogi Bear campground owners do not allow you CHECK IN or CHECK OUT on Saturday or Sunday. Thats a little strange. Not paying for a night I will not be there. :-(

This is a great place great scenery everywhere you turn it has great photo opps..... the people here are friendly. The lifeguards can be slackers and only wait until kids come out the water crying ...but sometimes that happens when young teenagers are running the show. But I am also reminded Maturity isnt an age and an adjective meaning you are call mature because that is one way people can define you. I have no kids but I am a babysitter and between the kids I watch and the people who were playing in the water there was no structure to the play here. Kids will be kids but it's not the quantity of how many life gairds you have it is the quality. It took until another parent said those kids have to get out for the lifeguards to rise up and tell the kids they have to sit out for an hour.

This is the second time me and the grandkids have been here. The first year we had our camper. This year we rented one of the cabins. Lived it both times. Two things that need to improve. Better internet/cable and lake and pool needs to open before 11:00 am.Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Will definitely be back next year.
