4 out of 5 stars.Former church camp changing to resort area. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We wanted for nothing. There is a lake with swimming and canoes and paddle boats. Included in price. A large gym that is open for basketball and other indoor activities. The parts that need work, advertised swimming pool isn’t there yet. Camp sites are narrow. Hook ups are water/ electric in front sewer in back so be sure you can reach. The place has great potential and I’m sure in the next year or so they will achieve it.We will come back again!

We wanted a fun Hudson Valley getaway, but sadly, this was not it. The grounds were ample but dotted with obvious construction activity. Our cabin was very unappealing. It smelled awful, like sewage and sulphur awful, the bed was uncomfortably wedged into a corner of the room, no place for luggage, no hooks for clothes, one impossibly small sink in the bathroom, no kitchen except a microwave atop a small frig and a coffee pot perched on a desk. While no kitchen was advertised, some sort of counter to prepare your food would have been appreciated. The desk made no sense, as we were not here on a business trip, or to pen our memoirs. The fire ring looked like it hadn't been used all season with weeds growing inside. Walkways around our cabin were uneven. The food options were closed or unavailable. We didn't see any other people except for workers who we suspected were living in the cabin next to us. The office closed promptly at 4 PM.As this was right before Labor Day it was highly unusual to see a campground this quiet.Maybe if you brought a group you'd overlook all this, but we were unimpressed with the cabin and the lake which was full of algae. Hardly a mirror. At almost $200 a night, we expected more.

We stayed at the campground in the Spring of 2022. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The lake was the best part of our stay. We traveled in our motorhome. The bad aspect of the stay was the hook-ups. They were all far apart from each other. To get the electric, we have to unhook the sewer. Not an ideal situation. The other negative was the small site. I can see and hear the family in the neighboring site. I did not like that at all. I live in a big house with bigger yard so it was uncomfortable. They have free paddle boats, rock climbing and hiking trails. The staff was nice. We had good time.

I went with a team to explore this site for an upcoming retreat. It was breathtaking. Our tour guide Tracey who is a volunteer was vibrant, knowledgeable and professional all in one.The Lake literally is a mirror and fishing is allowed. We looked at rooms in Miller and Bergers houses. Miller House has bunk beds that sleep 4 and a double bed and a bathroom - so 5 persons/room can be housed in this cluster. Bergers cluster has 2 bunk beds and a double bed and bathroom. In addition there are 6 studio apartments on the camp site as well as RVs, and you can also park your personal RV on the camp grounds at a cost of course. A gift shop is there too. A huge gym, large dining area and a mobile food truck. There are some cabins sans bathrooms.I would definitely recommend Mirror Lake for individuals or groups for a time of reflection, tranquility, tuning in to nature, bonding, etc.

Not worth it at all the money..look for better places around. Too much of construction going on and the place is full of dust... None of the activities listed on the websites are available and they never tell you that..not even boating. An old food trucked just parked and has been out of service..The lake is dirty and not maintained at all. Everything is old and unmaintained. The breakfast was quite bad ..stale breads with on moulds on it. I saw bag of bagels which was dated 3 months old ..on asking I was told that its been kept in the freezer so its not spoilt ...really ??
