Pocono Mobile Home Park Introduce
For many residents across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, finding a residential community that offers a balance of affordability and a central location is a top priority. Pocono Mobile Home Park, situated in the historic city of Wilkes-Barre, serves as a local housing option for those seeking the manufactured home lifestyle within Luzerne County. As Pennsylvanians, we understand the importance of a home base that provides easy access to the industrial and natural landscapes that define our region. This park offers an established neighborhood setting where residents can maintain their own individual units while benefiting from a collective community footprint in the heart of the Wyoming Valley.
Pocono Mobile Home Park is designed specifically for mobile and manufactured homes, catering to a demographic that values independence and a lower cost of living compared to traditional site-built real estate. In the local Wilkes-Barre market, such parks are essential for providing diverse housing opportunities. The atmosphere of the park is often described by locals as quiet and neighborly, where long-term residents appreciate the ability to live in a familiar environment close to the city's resources. While the property has a rugged, lived-in character, it remains a functional part of the local housing infrastructure for many individuals and families calling Northeastern Pennsylvania home.
Location and accessibility are among the most significant aspects of Pocono Mobile Home Park. Located at 740 Jumper Rd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, the park is positioned in a strategic area that allows for quick travel throughout the Wyoming Valley. For local users, the proximity to major thoroughfares like Route 309 and Interstates 81 and 476 is a major advantage. This makes the park a viable choice for commuters working in Scranton, Pittston, or the various industrial parks that drive the local economy. Despite being close to these major transport links, the park itself is tucked away on Jumper Road, offering a sense of separation from the high-traffic urban core of the city.
The accessibility of the park extends to nearby amenities that Pennsylvania residents rely on daily. Within a short drive, residents can reach the Mohegan Pennsylvania casino and racetrack, various shopping centers, and a wide array of dining options ranging from local diners to national chains. The area surrounding Jumper Road is a mix of residential and light industrial zones, reflecting the hardworking heritage of Wilkes-Barre. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the park’s location provides a convenient starting point for visiting the nearby Seven Tubs Recreation Area or the expansive state parks located just a short drive up into the Poconos, which are a pride of our state.

The features and highlights of Pocono Mobile Home Park define its identity within the Wilkes-Barre community. While the park is known for its straightforward and unpretentious environment, several key aspects stand out to local residents. These features include:

What is worth choosing about Pocono Mobile Home Park often comes down to the intangible value of the community itself. According to local perspectives, one of the most significant assets of this park is the people who live there. Residents have shared experiences of neighbors coming together to help one another, whether it is troubleshooting a mechanical issue with a car or simply looking out for one another’s property. This "neighbor-helping-neighbor" attitude is a hallmark of the Pennsylvania spirit and is very much alive within the borders of this park on Jumper Road.
Furthermore, the park is worth considering for its exceptional location. In a region where traffic can sometimes be a challenge, having a home base so close to the cross-section of major highways saves residents valuable time and fuel costs. While some local feedback suggests that the internal roads and infrastructure require more consistent attention—specifically regarding the presence of potholes and road wear—the core value remains in the accessibility and the community bond. For a resident who is handy and values a quiet, central location, Pocono Mobile Home Park provides a functional and supportive environment to call home.
Choosing Pocono Mobile Home Park means opting for a place where you can live life on your own terms while being part of a resilient local community. It represents a piece of the Wilkes-Barre residential fabric that prioritizes practicality and local connection. We encourage anyone looking for mobile home options in the 18702 area to reach out to the management or drive by the Jumper Road location to see if this community aligns with their lifestyle and housing goals in the beautiful Keystone State.

Crappy looking place, roads are falling apart, no mgmt on premises
I have a friend that lives here, so I've been here pretty often over the last couple of years. I can say the neighbors tend to keep to themselves until someone needs help. I was having car trouble and having a hard time figuring it out and a few neighbors came out to try and lend a hand. The only reason I gave only 3 stars is because the roads here are atrocious!! The potholes are huge, it's like driving through a minefield.
Quiet place. Roads are not plowed or fixed. Major potholes. No office. No one in charge on property. Neighbors stay to themselves. No bus stop. No street signs. Lots of stray cats. Name has changed.
The roads are full of potholes, but some of the trailers are nice but others not so nice. A lot of the yards are kept up with and groomed and others not groomed.
I live here now it quite and the people in the tralier park is nice the only thing too far from stores and no buses and the park has potholes but it nice to live in
