What is worth choosing Sunset Bay Vacation Resort for your next seasonal stay? The decision often comes down to the quality of the lake access and the robust community atmosphere. For New York residents who want a "home away from home" on the water, the resort offers a level of convenience that is hard to match. The ability to keep your RV and your boat in the same secure location for the duration of the summer provides a seamless transition into vacation mode every weekend. While the park is known for its lively environment and popular live band performances, it remains a dedicated space for those who love the classic Adirondack lake lifestyle. Furthermore, the resort serves as an excellent base for exploring the Great Sacandaga Lake's legendary fishing, which includes walleye, northern pike, and bass. For families, the presence of a dedicated playground and shallow swimming areas at the private beach offers peace of mind. Band played here, but the weather was quite chilly and damp for a late May night. Some enthusiastic folks showed up and we had fun.Our POC Brian was pleasant and happy to help, and we hope to be back playing again soon when it's warmer.

Owners are rude , prices go up yearly . Many other places on the lake for much cheaper . Same bands over and over . Favoritism between owners and some renters, Rules only apply to people that they want them to. Campers are very close to each other. I had a camper threat in my life last year. The owners wouldn’t tell me their name so I can contact police.
