Creek Locks Mobile Home Park Introduce
Creek Locks Mobile Home Park is a well-established residential community located in the peaceful hamlet of Bloomington, New York. Founded in 1973, this park has spent over five decades providing high-quality, affordable housing to residents of Ulster County. Situated directly along the banks of the scenic Rondout Creek, the park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and suburban convenience. It is widely recognized by locals as a clean and orderly neighborhood, often described as a "great family-owned place" where community standards and mutual respect among neighbors are prioritized. For those seeking a permanent residence in the Hudson Valley that combines the tranquility of waterfront views with the security of a managed community, Creek Locks stands as a premier choice.
The atmosphere at Creek Locks Mobile Home Park is defined by its commitment to safety and tranquility. The park management enforces specific rules and regulations designed to ensure that all residents can enjoy their homes without disruption. This includes maintaining a strictly quiet environment and ensuring that all lots are kept in excellent condition. One of the most distinctive features of the park is its system of high-speed bumps, which are intentionally placed throughout the private roads. While these may be a point of discussion for some visitors, long-term residents appreciate them as a vital safety measure that keeps traffic slow and predictable, creating a safe space for children to ride bikes and play outside. This focus on safety, combined with the professional management of the grounds, fosters a tight-knit community feel where residents often stay for many years.
Location and Accessibility are significant advantages for those living at Creek Locks. The park is located at 1174 Creek Locks Road, Bloomington, NY 12411, placing it in a strategic "middle ground" between the city of Kingston and the town of Rosendale. This central location means that residents are less than four miles away from major healthcare facilities, including the HealthAlliance Hospital's Mary's Avenue and Broadway campuses (formerly Benedictine and Kingston Hospitals). For shopping and dining, the city of Kingston offers an array of supermarkets, boutiques, and restaurants just minutes away. The park is also close to recreational landmarks like the Ashokan Reservoir and the Catskill Park, offering endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, and boating. Despite its rural charm, the park is easily accessible from major state routes, making it a convenient home base for commuters across the region.

What is worth choosing Creek Locks Mobile Home Park for your next home? The primary reason is the balance between cost-effective living and a high quality of life. In the Hudson Valley, where housing prices can be exceptionally high, Creek Locks offers a way to own a home in a beautiful, safe, and well-maintained setting. The family-owned nature of the park means that there is a level of care and accountability that is often missing in corporate-run facilities. Residents who choose to buy a home here often cite the "rules and regulations" as a positive factor, as they ensure that everyone maintains their property, which in turn protects the value and beauty of the entire neighborhood.
Furthermore, the natural setting is unparalleled. Living right on the Rondout Creek provides a daily connection to nature that is both relaxing and visually stunning. Whether you are an avid fisherman, a fan of birdwatching, or simply someone who enjoys a quiet walk along the water, the environment at Creek Locks is truly unique. While the proximity to the water requires a respect for nature's unpredictability, the park's long-standing history in the area demonstrates its resilience and stability. For those looking for a clean, safe, and scenic place to live within a short drive of Kingston's urban amenities, Creek Locks Mobile Home Park is an excellent and reputable choice.

This park is clean which is a big deal. Two reasons I wouldn't want to live here are there are high speed bumps and a lot of them. Keeps the traffic slow for sure but damn and it's to close to the creek for my liking. Water is to unpredictable to me.
Been here 7 years now. Great Family owned for years kind of place. First I rented, then I bought because of the rules and regulations. The rules are suppose to allow people to respect and be courteous of their neighbors in the community by also making sure they maintain their lots. I am glad they have the speed bumps for the privately owned roads to slow drivers down as there are children living in the neighborhood riding bikes, power wheels etc..
Well to be honest it's like living in an old old folk mobile home kids are not allowed to really play outside children can't have a little pool nothing but I will say it is very clean very tidy the owners make sure no one is out of line the place is very quiet it's beautiful actually it's not bad at all it's just they should have been the rules a little bit allow a child in a little pool or allowed to get to play outside because they're not even allowed to really ride their bikes or nothing it's pretty sad when children can't be children and go outside and play
I have lived here since 2014 and have lived it from the moment we saw it! Really don’t want to live anywhere else.
Definitely one of the nicer trailer parks but the speed bumps are over kill ripped off the muffler on my car.
