Dutch Cousin Campground Introduce

Dutch Cousin Campground is a quintessential family-owned and operated destination situated in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Located in Denver, this campground serves as a serene sanctuary for those looking to experience the charm of Pennsylvania Dutch Country without the overwhelming "hustle and bustle" often found at larger commercial resorts. The property is characterized by its lush, wooded landscape and a low-key, friendly atmosphere that makes guests feel like part of the family from the moment they arrive. Whether you are a seasoned RVer or a family looking for a weekend cabin getaway, the park provides a well-maintained environment where the focus remains on relaxation, nature, and community.

For Pennsylvania residents and travelers alike, the campground is often described as a "hidden gem." It manages to strike a perfect balance between being a quiet, wooded retreat and providing modern conveniences that cater to today’s campers. The management is frequently lauded for their hands-on approach and hospitality, ensuring the grounds remain immaculate and the environment remains peaceful for all visitors. With its year-round availability, it offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the changing seasons of Lancaster County, from the vibrant foliage of autumn to the crisp, quiet beauty of a Pennsylvania winter.

Location and accessibility are among the top advantages of choosing Dutch Cousin Campground. Nestled at 446 Hill Road, Denver, PA 17517, the park is incredibly easy to reach, situated just two miles off Exit 286 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76). This strategic location makes it an ideal landing spot for travelers coming from Philadelphia, Harrisburg, or Allentown. The entrance is well-marked and designed to be inclusive, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance, an accessible parking lot, and accessible restroom facilities. On-site parking is clearly designated, and the park’s layout is "Big Rig friendly," with spacious gravel sites that are level and easy to navigate for those with larger motorhomes and fifth-wheels.

The services offered at Dutch Cousin Campground are designed to provide a "home away from home" experience. From high-speed connectivity to essential maintenance facilities, the campground ensures that your stay is comfortable and convenient. The service offerings include:

  • Full hookup RV sites equipped with 30-amp and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections.

What is worth choosing when it comes to Dutch Cousin Campground is the sense of tranquility and the quality of the infrastructure. For the digital nomad or the modern traveler, the "exceptional" Wi-Fi and cable TV at every site are significant draws that are rarely found in similar wooded campgrounds. For families, the park’s commitment to a safe, supervised environment for children—combined with strict quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM—ensures a restful night’s sleep. The variety of cabin rentals, ranging from cozy one-room units to lofts that sleep eight, provides a perfect alternative for those who want the camping experience without owning an RV. Ultimately, choosing Dutch Cousin means choosing a well-kept, peaceful base of operations that places you in the heart of everything Lancaster County has to offer while feeling miles away from the noise of the modern world.

Very nice RV spots with quality hookups, cable at every side and excellent Wi-Fi. Those of you who are travelers understand that Wi-Fi is generally crap at RV parks. This is the exception. The Wi-Fi is great and the cabins are very nice
