Hogarosa Introduce

Hogarosa, often referred to as Hogarosa Campgrounds, is a standout destination for outdoor enthusiasts who crave a unique blend of natural serenity and high-energy entertainment. Nestled in the picturesque rolling hills of Springville, New York, this facility has carved out a niche as more than just a place to pitch a tent. It is a vibrant community hub renowned throughout Western New York for hosting legendary music festivals and social gatherings. While many campgrounds focus solely on quietude, Hogarosa embraces a "rock and roll" spirit, frequently serving as the backdrop for multi-day events that bring together local live bands, motorcycle enthusiasts, and families looking for a spirited summer getaway.

The atmosphere at Hogarosa is one of welcoming camaraderie. Long-time visitors often describe the grounds as a place where you can "die and go to heaven" if you love the combination of local live music and the great outdoors. The property is meticulously managed to handle large crowds during festival peaks while still maintaining the charm of a rural New York retreat. Whether the main stage is thumping with the sounds of a tribute band or the massive community fire is crackling during a midnight acoustic jam session, the sense of organized fun is a constant. For those in the New York region, it represents a premier "event-camping" destination where the social experience is just as important as the site amenities.

Location and Accessibility are significant draws for Hogarosa. The campground is located at 11847 Summit Ln, Springville, NY 14141, USA. It is strategically positioned just three miles from downtown Springville, making it a convenient three-minute drive for supplies or local dining. For those traveling from Buffalo or surrounding suburbs, the site is easily reached via Route 219, taking the Genesee exit to Summit Lane off Drake Road. The park is situated at the end of a dead-end road, ensuring that while it is close to the town’s amenities, there is no through-traffic to disturb the camping experience. The entrance and parking lots are designed with accessibility in mind, offering wheelchair-accessible paths and dedicated parking areas to ensure all guests can participate in the festivities.

Services Offered at Hogarosa are designed to accommodate both the rugged tent camper and the modern RV traveler. The management team, often praised for their friendly and helpful attitude, ensures that the essential needs of visitors are met through a variety of onsite provisions. Key services include:

  • Dedicated RV camping sites with electric hookups available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Contact Information for Hogarosa is essential for those looking to book a site or purchase tickets for upcoming festivals. You can reach the campground office by phone at (716) 381-7355. For mobile users or those seeking to inquire about seasonal site availability, the contact number is +1 716-381-7355. The physical address is 11847 Summit Ln, Springville, NY 14141, USA. Because Hogarosa operates as a popular venue for specific events, it is highly recommended to call ahead or check their official schedule, as many weekend dates are reserved for specific music camps or jamborees that may require advanced ticket purchases.

What is worth choosing when it comes to Hogarosa is the unparalleled "Rock and Roll Camp" experience. If you are a fan of the Buffalo-area music scene, choosing this campground during one of its signature 21-and-over events is a must. The ability to see 20 or more local bands over a single weekend while staying on-site is a value that traditional music venues simply cannot match. It is worth choosing for the sense of community; you aren't just a spectator here, you are part of a massive, friendly group of people who share a passion for live performance and outdoor living.

For families, the campground is worth choosing during its non-festival dates or specifically family-oriented weekends, where the focus shifts toward hiking, picnics, and enjoying the clean, neat grounds of the Springville area. The flexibility of the site—offering everything from primitive tent spots to RV-ready zones—means you can tailor your experience to your level of comfort. Whether you are coming for the loud guitars and the midnight jams or just a quiet weekend exploring the trails of Western New York, Hogarosa provides a professional, well-run, and memorable setting that has rightfully earned its status as a local favorite.
