Holiday Harbor RV Park Introduce
For New Yorkers seeking a tranquil escape where the water meets the sky, Holiday Harbor RV Park offers a unique geographic advantage. Situated in Red Creek, this campground is a hidden gem for those who want to experience the dual beauty of Blind Sodus Bay and the expansive shores of Lake Ontario. Unlike many inland campsites, Holiday Harbor provides a nautical-themed retreat that caters specifically to RV enthusiasts who value both community and convenience. The park is designed to be a "home away from home," fostering a friendly environment where neighbors quickly become friends and the pace of life slows down to the rhythm of the waves.
Operating as a dedicated RV park and campground, the facility has become a staple for local residents from Syracuse, Rochester, and the surrounding Finger Lakes region. The atmosphere is professional yet welcoming, characterized by a clean and tidy layout that prioritizes the natural views of the bay. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or a full seasonal stay, the park offers a well-maintained backdrop for creating summer memories. Its reputation is built on its scenic lakefront sitting areas and the active social life fostered through park-wide events and recreational competitions.
Location and accessibility are primary features of Holiday Harbor RV Park. Found at 9415 Blind Sodus Bay Road, Red Creek, NY 13143, the park is easily accessible via New York's Seaway Trail, a scenic route that hugs the shoreline of Lake Ontario. This makes it a convenient destination for travelers arriving from across the state. The park management has taken significant steps to ensure the facility is inclusive, offering a wheelchair-accessible entrance, wheelchair-accessible parking lots, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms. This commitment to accessibility ensures that the beauty of the New York shoreline is available to all guests, regardless of mobility needs.
The park is strategically positioned to offer both the calm, protected waters of Blind Sodus Bay and the more adventurous open waters of the Great Lake. For boaters, this means the best of both worlds: a safe harbor for docking and immediate access to some of the best fishing and cruising in the region. The proximity to the water also means that many sites enjoy cooling breezes even during the height of a New York summer, making it a comfortable haven for outdoor living.
Holiday Harbor RV Park provides a comprehensive range of services designed to make RV life as seamless as possible. The focus is on providing a full-service experience that caters to both transient visitors and long-term seasonal residents. The staff and onsite management are known for their presence and helpfulness, often engaging with guests to ensure their stay is going smoothly.

Excellent campground with super friendly staff and residents. It’s set in a beautiful place between blind Sodus bay and the lake, in which they have a nice lake front siting area available. They also offer cook outs and horse shoe tournaments and a variety of other activities. They also just added a new dock set up so if you have a boat you can launch it from there and enjoy the lake and bay as well. They have transient spots and also seasonal sites available. I loved my experience with the park.
My motorhome caught fire the day we arrived. Very helpful in putting fire out. However, it was totaled and we had to spend thousands, not covered by insurance, getting home, so we asked about a refund for the prepaid five days. Never took the site and it was moved to a back unused area. Wasn’t even holiday weekend. Owner refused to refund anything AND pocketed the extra $400 the insurance company paid for “storage” he charged. Asked for just the $400 extra he got and said certainly don’t want to profit from the tragedy of another, do you? Crickets since.Do yourself a favor and show your opposition to greedy and selfish business practices. Share this, don’t stay there and tell everyone to avoid this place.
This was our first season staying at Holiday Harbor Resort and I can tell you it's a little piece of heaven. The owners have a site there and are nothing but accommodating. The other campers are all so welcoming and the gatherings they have are wonderful ❤😎 You have the sunrise on the bay and the sunset on the lake. Great kayaking and fishing, a very beautiful and peaceful place. So thankful we found it❣
Honestly the permanent site people are very rude that in the back. We camped at the "newer" sites in the back and the permanent residents were very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome at our own site (that we also pay for) like it was our fault that the owner put in 3 newer sites that are actual really small where you can touch the camper next to you when you come out of your own. Also, if you own a big rig, don't camp in the back or the trees will scratch your camper, it is a tight squeeze. We also got talked to about non-driver license person driving the golf cart when we had all adults and 3 little kids (10 years and younger) that are not allowed to drive our golf cart. It is a very beautiful place but the environment was toxic. We are seasoned campers and travel all over new york to different places and this was one place that was very unwelcoming to newcomers.
First year here as seasonal campers. After leaving a resort for the past 3 years. What a difference. We love it here. Our 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter have a blast here. All the owners are great people and want nothing but a great time to be had by all!! If you're looking for a gem it's here.
