Situated in the heart of Sullivan County, this site offers a unique opportunity for those connected to the scouting community to experience the tranquil beauty of the Upper Delaware River Valley. For residents of the New York region, particularly those involved in scouting programs within the Greater New York Councils, Lakeside Tent site serves as a vital resource for fostering a love of the outdoors. The atmosphere is professional yet welcoming, maintaining the core values of the scouting mission while offering a space where parents, children, and grandparents can enjoy the wilderness together. The camp provides a structured environment that is both safe and engaging, making it a popular choice for those seeking a more purposeful camping experience than a standard public park might offer. The emphasis here is on community, skill-building, and the quiet appreciation of the Catskill Mountains' natural heritage.

Location and accessibility are key features of the Lakeside Tent site. Narrowsburg is a historic hamlet known for its vibrant arts scene and its role as a gateway to the Delaware River. For local New Yorkers, the drive is relatively convenient, offering a transition from the urban landscape into a world of rolling hills and dense woodlands. While the site itself is situated on the natural, often hilly terrain of the region, the camp has established designated areas for on-site parking to facilitate easier access for families arriving with camping gear and supplies.

Beautiful view . Bathrooms need work. The whole site is on a hill except where you can park.Would have given 5 stars if the water running to the site worked. Its nice to have water running to a campsite especially with a cabin on site. Maybe a bathroom in the cabin would be nice.

FYI - This is part of a private scout camp, not a public site for camping
