What makes Lazy River Camping Area particularly worth choosing for New Hampshire locals is the unique combination of riverfront access and a genuinely friendly, small-town atmosphere. Many campers highlight the "phenomenal" pricing and the attentive nature of the staff, which creates a welcoming environment from the moment you check in. If you are a fan of river activities, the ability to float down the Suncook and take advantage of the campground's return shuttle service is a standout feature that you won't find at every local park. It takes the logistical headache out of tubing, allowing you to simply enjoy the gentle flow of the water.
Additionally, the campground's versatility is a major plus. It is rare to find a location that can equally satisfy a solo tent camper looking for a quiet riverside retreat and a family in a large RV seeking a pool and playground. The sites are known for being well-maintained and spacious, often providing more room than the crowded commercial parks found in more tourist-heavy regions of the state. By choosing Lazy River, you are opting for a "favorite spot" that prioritizes the simple joys of camping: clean air, cold river water, and the camaraderie of fellow outdoor lovers. It is a reliable, high-value choice for anyone looking to make the most of the New Hampshire summer season.

Customer Reviews
Well, let’s start off by saying very welcoming staff price phenomenal campsites very well maintained river felt wonderful pool very nice people. Incredible here I will be back. This may be my new favorite camping spot.
Stayed here from Monday through Thursday. Had tent site #1 down near the river with absolutely no one nearby the entire time we were here, only because they don't rent out sites 2 or 3 because of riverbank erosion. Other than the road being close by, across the river, this place has been great. Not the campground's fault but the river was really low which was a bummer but my dog, my gf and I still enjoyed it. A nice added bonus was the water and electricity hookup which was nice for charging and washing dishes. Possibly the only downside was the fact that he showers were only on the upper portion of the campground. I'd give this place a 4.5 but Google only allows 4 or 5 stars.
It's a no frills easy going kind of place. I've been here a handful of times and the management is always great, and hands off. No fire Nazis coming around at night telling you to put the fire out, or to quiet down. They have a playground and a pool, and also offer activities. Go here and check it out.
Warning - do not buy camp wood from the girl that drives around the park in a grey silver pickup truck - its still wet (not seasoned) and will not burn.Friendly staff - nice pool with horseshoe pits next to it - nice pool table on second floor of building where the office is.They treat you like an adult and do not bother you if you’re not trouble/an idiot lol.Been there multiple times and will be back again next year.
Best campground around. Amazing people, great lazy river ride when the rivers full, staff is super awesome to work with. Have a great time every time I stay there
