Lyndon Lawn Manufactured Home Community Introduce

Lyndon Lawn Manufactured Home Community is a dedicated residential enclave designed specifically for the 55 plus senior population in the New York region. Located in the welcoming town of Central Square, this mobile home park provides a specialized living environment tailored to the needs of older adults seeking a quiet, age-restricted community. In the landscape of New York real estate, finding a community that focuses exclusively on the senior demographic is essential for those who prioritize a peaceful atmosphere and a neighborhood composed of peers. Lyndon Lawn aims to offer this exact experience, providing a stable and predictable environment for its residents to enjoy their retirement years.

The community is established as a manufactured home park that emphasizes independence within a collective setting. As a senior-focused property, the pace of life here is noticeably calmer than in standard residential neighborhoods. The park is managed with a focus on maintaining a residential standard that aligns with the expectations of its 55 and older residents. While the community has evolved over the years, it remains a notable landmark in Central Square for those looking for manufactured housing. It serves as a vital resource for seniors in Oswego County who wish to downsize from larger family homes into more manageable, single-level living spaces that accommodate the physical needs of aging residents.

Location and accessibility are central to the appeal of Lyndon Lawn Manufactured Home Community. Situated at 1208 Watertown Rd, Central Square, NY 13036, the park is positioned along a main thoroughfare that provides direct connectivity to the heart of the village and beyond. Central Square is known for its strategic position just north of the Syracuse metropolitan area, making it an ideal spot for seniors who want to remain close to top-tier medical facilities, shopping centers, and cultural attractions while living in a more rural, suburban environment. The park’s location on Watertown Road ensures that residents are never far from local necessities such as pharmacies, grocery stores, and post offices.

Accessibility is a prioritized feature at Lyndon Lawn, specifically designed to support residents with varying levels of mobility. The community features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, ensuring that all residents and visitors can enter the grounds safely and with ease. Furthermore, the property includes a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, which is a critical amenity for a senior-focused population. These structural considerations reflect the park's commitment to being an inclusive environment for older New Yorkers. The layout of the park is designed to be navigable, allowing residents to move between their homes and community areas like mailbox clusters, although the regional winter weather often requires residents to take extra care during the snowy months typical of the Central Square area.

Many issues this is a semior park 55 plus, icey roads in winter. Only plowed no salt on roads or at mailboxes. Hard for senior citizens to drive vehicles up inclines or walk their dogs.

This community is well kept. The people are extremely friendly and I love how it's a little bit away from everything else. The type of seclusion and exclusivity that is offered by this particular Community is quite impressive. I'm very glad my family stays there and I met a lot of new friends there. Such a happy and wonderful place!

Great sense of family and community. Caring people who are always at the ready to help when in need. Is there room for improvements to the park itself? Absolutely but the owners are working to rectify these issues. Highly recommend this place that I get to call home ☺

Don't get me wrong, overall, this park is great for my parents. It has great residents, and the HOA is awesome! HOA has all kinds of events and gatherings planned throughout the year. My BIGGEST problem with this park is the lack of maintenance in the winter months, primarily the "ICE." My mother and father have both fallen, including myself. We have made atleast two phone calls to the corporate office, and they seem to not really care about the issue. They have told us that putting down rock salt, "will do nothing." I have included pictures that have been taken well after the 2 phone calls over 2017 & 2018. If you or your loved ones are looking to live here, please be aware of the ice situation in the winter months. Walking to your friends, neighbor's, or even to the mail box may be very hazardous. And it does not appear that anything will be done about it.
