What is worth choosing about Montrose Campground is the authentic "home away from home" feeling it provides in one of the most beautiful corners of Pennsylvania. In an age where many campgrounds are becoming overly commercialized with high prices and crowded layouts, Montrose remains true to the spirit of the Endless Mountains. It is worth choosing because of its commitment to being truly kid-friendly; the specialized hikes and playground areas ensure that children are never bored and always safe. Furthermore, the accessibility features show a level of care and consideration for all members of the community that sets this facility apart from more basic campgrounds.

The location itself is a significant draw. New Milford serves as a gateway to some of the best outdoor recreation in the Northeast, and staying at Montrose Campground places you right in the center of it. Whether you are fishing in nearby lakes, exploring the local historic towns, or simply enjoying the rustle of the leaves from your RV, the experience is uniquely Pennsylvanian. The combination of modern amenities like NFC payments with the old-school charm of wooded tent sites makes it a balanced choice for any type of camper. If you value a secluded, tree-filled environment where your family and your pets are genuinely welcome, Montrose Campground is an excellent destination for your next Susquehanna County adventure.

My wife and I camped here, for being related to Tammy you would think putting family some place safer would've been better, but put us by a drunk in a tent that wouldn't leave us alone. We ended up leaving because we felt uncomfortable, I was never refunded $246, they kept my money.
