Customer Reviews
Decent campground. The site we had was not ideal, but that was partially our doing as we picked a “cheaper” site since we were only staying a few days. It was a nice stopover place in between longer stays. A bit crowded in the back where we were, but the people were extremely nice. Although I was frustrated with people walking between our fifth wheel and our truck (in our site). The kids enjoyed the firetruck and searching for coins. We have been to a lot of RV parks and this was definitely a good one.
This was our first campground stop for our big family vacation. It is a great campground. It was very clean, quiet, and nice. It has a good amount of amenities. It has a pool, gold mining, and an awesome playground. The bathrooms were very clean and upkept. We also had a cabin rental that was also very clean and very comfortable inside. It is in a little town just a couple miles away. It is also a 45 minute drive to Six Flags New England.Overall, this was a great KOA campground. We were very pleased with the staff and the campsite.
The layout of this park was impressive. Cabins, RVs, and tents all seamlessly intertwine on the winding roads thru this large park. Lots of nooks and crannies for privacy for each site yet an overall liveliness and community in the park itself. I could imagine my 10 yr old self pretending and playing on the well worn trails throughout the park; jumping on the huge mountain rocks covered in moss and hiding amongst the batches of tall, sheltering trees. All amenities were updated, functional, and clean. The park hosts tons of opportunities for fun and community if you are interested. There are several surrounding small towns with lots of character to explore too. The local towns are welcoming and inclusive just as it felt in the campground itself. We will return. Thank you for a great stay!
We stopped here at a time when we really needed to get off the road. It’s a beautiful little campground and we were lucky to not only to have it but that it was so fantastically beautiful. I definitely recommend trying this place.
Great campground for kids. They host tons of activities free of charge including fire engine rides. The pool area is clean and we'll maintained and the staff is friendly. The wood and ice are a little pricey but so is every other campground too.
