My client purchase a home at 16 Avenue A 2 years ago with a fence that both the selling broker and management company said was grandfathered yet the management came in, bamboozled my client and tore the fence down and refuses to rebuild even though they admit the fence was grandfathered. My client is seeking legal counsel. Another example of big corporation taking advantage of small consumer.
Lakeshore management came in two years ago and decided that they can raise the property rent 6x as much as Conti did in the last 20 years. They put in a bunch of refurbished trailers and it is cramped and packed tight. No one is happy with these people.
