It is particularly worth choosing for families with young children; the 5 MPH speed limit and the "eyes-on" community feel provide a level of safety and comfort that is rare. The owners, Josh and Ann, are known for their hands-on management style, often seen around the park ensuring that facilities are spotless and that guests are enjoying their stay.
Furthermore, the value for money at Partridge Hollow is exceptional. Between the high-quality wood, the abundance of free activities for kids, and the proximity to the natural wonders of the Berkshires' eastern edge, it provides a premium experience at a fair price. Camped here a few times. It's a nice campground in a nice area. Prices were good and the place overall is nice and wooded. We got an escort to our site which was nice as not all are clearly marked. They cut their own campfire wood too which I like better than the packaged stuff most places offer now.
This place is very cute. The sites aren't huge. They are semi private I guess depending on how crowded it could get. They have a small arcade that most games are free. The jump pad is large, it does cost in rain for safety reasons. The pool is 3 feet deep all around and the kid pool is 1 foot. The bathhouse is clean. The showers require a quarter.Lots of trails to hike. There is state park 5 minutes down road to hike/fish.The staff are all very nice.We enjoyed our time here and will definitely visit again.
Nice family oriented campground. Pool is awesome, kids love the game room and some games are free. Lots of activities on the weekend. Owners and staff are very friendly. Campground is clean. Restrooms although clean could use some attention like paint and get rid of mold. Only real complaint is the ticks, constantly finding them on tent, chairs and ourselves. Bring lots of bug spray!
Stayed here this weekend after my dad booked the cove sight for all of his kids and their families… (5 separate families paying) and we ended up having to leave earlier because the sewer smell in the cove was horrible, the bathrooms were disgusting, the owner was extremely rude and when my family member was talking to the group of kids we all had he assumed he was talking to him and became super argumentative and ready to start a argument. After kindly explaining to him that we were talking to all the kids he didn’t even have the decency to apologize for snapping… my dog is super well behaved and we brought her with us for the weekend and as soon as we reached the pool area someone called and complained and said that she was “ barking “ . There is just way more friendlier campgrounds around that actually have nice people and clean spaces!! Save your money, save your time, and certainly save yourself some friendlier experiences.
Nice campground with kids activities over the weekend but “not” during the week. If you expect plenty of young campers during the week - this place is dead. Maybe we were just unlucky.Pool is clean. Playground is nice. Bathrooms are okay for a campground.Lesson learned for me: Ask more questions before booking.
