Pine Haven Campground Introduce
For New Jersey residents, the search for the perfect summer sanctuary often leads to the scenic landscapes of Cape May County. Pine Haven Campground, located in the heart of Cape May Court House, stands as a premier destination for those who value quality family time, outdoor adventure, and the comforts of a well-managed resort. Situated among over 115 acres of lush pine and oak woods, this campground offers a refreshing alternative to the crowded beach hotels, providing a "home away from home" atmosphere that has welcomed generations of campers. Whether you are looking to pitch a tent, park your RV, or relax in a luxury cabin, Pine Haven provides a professional yet friendly environment that captures the quintessential spirit of the Jersey Shore.
The resort is designed with a focus on community and family-oriented values. Local visitors often remark on the extraordinary service and the welcoming nature of the staff, who prioritize guest experience over commercial gain. This dedication to hospitality makes it a favorite for those in the South Jersey region seeking a peaceful retreat. The property is expansive, much larger than many first-time guests imagine, featuring winding trails and a layout that balances lively activity areas with secluded, quiet pockets for relaxation. It is a place where children can safely roam and explore, and where neighbors become lifelong friends over evening campfires and community events.
Location and accessibility are key components of the Pine Haven experience. The campground is situated at 2339 US-9 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, USA. Its prime location places it just minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean's white sandy beaches and the vibrant boardwalks of Sea Isle City and Wildwood. Residents of the Garden State will find it easily accessible via the Garden State Parkway (Exit 17), making it a convenient "staycation" spot for those in the tri-state area. Furthermore, the resort is committed to inclusivity, providing a wheelchair-accessible entrance, accessible parking lots, and specialized restroom facilities. This ensures that every member of the family, regardless of mobility, can enjoy the natural beauty and recreational amenities of the park.
Pine Haven Campground offers a robust array of onsite services tailored to both the rugged camper and the luxury-seeking vacationer. The management takes a proactive approach to maintaining the grounds, ensuring that every guest has access to modern conveniences. The services offered include:
- Full Hookup RV Sites: Each site is equipped with 20, 30, and 50-amp electric service, sewer connections, and water hookups to accommodate modern rigs.

What makes Pine Haven Campground worth choosing is the authentic sense of hospitality and the immense value it provides to families. In a region where vacation costs can quickly escalate, Pine Haven remains an affordable alternative that does not compromise on quality or amenities. It is worth choosing because it prioritizes the "family first" philosophy; as many regular guests note, the management truly cares about the quality of your time spent here rather than just the bottom line. Whether it is the generosity of allowing short family visits without extra charges or the meticulous cleaning of the cabins, the personal touch is evident in every corner of the resort.
Furthermore, the diversity of the terrain—from wooded groves to lakefront views—offers a unique environment for every type of camper. You can start your day with a peaceful fishing session on the lake, spend the afternoon at one of the two pools, and end the evening roasting marshmallows over a private fire ring at your site. The ability to rent a golf cart to "zoom around" the property adds a layer of fun and accessibility that many other resorts lack. For any New Jersey local seeking a reliable, high-energy, yet relaxing summer home base near the coast, Pine Haven Campground is an exceptional choice that consistently delivers on its promise of a memorable family getaway.

We LOVED everything about this campground!!!! My daughter rented a cabin there and we would visit. Service was extradinary family oriented! We were never charged to come visit for short periods of time and they accommodated other family members also! It's nice to know that people still care about quality family time and not filling their pockets full, as some of the other resorts do. ! We will be back again next year!!! Great place!! Thank you Pine Haven!!
Beautiful campground, 2 beautiful pools large lake for dogs and people, can rent a golf cart to zoom around the whole campground which is way bigger than you can imagine. Only downside was the bed was not that comfortable but the pillows were soft and clean. They provided a coffee pot, pots/pans cooking utensils and a full dish set. A nice sized porch and big picnic table with umbrella to sit at. Also, a charcoal grill to use and a fire ring out back. Very nice area and we will be going back in another 2 weeks.
Fabulous location! There's a pool and a lake you can swim in! It's really close to the beach and the Zoo! If you're staying in a room with bunk beds, bring your own sheets bc they do not supply them! It was clean and comfy in the cabin. they have mini split air conditioners and they have a LOT of mold in them, which is very common with that type of system.. but if you're sensitive to mold, this may not be a good place for you. But other than that we loved our stay and plan on going back next year! We didn't have the loft this time but next time we will! We also selected the lake from cabin assuming it would be the swimming lake, but it was the fishing lake. That should have been specified better in the listing but it was still a nice view. There's snapping turtles in the fishing lake and also regular turtles and fish! Frogs too! But definitely find out if you have a swimming lake front property or fishing lake. They are kinda far from each other which made it unsafe for my kids to go to the swimming lake by themselves. We thought it was going to be right outside our cabin so we could sit on the deck and watch the kids play while we relaxed but that wasn't possible. But all in all we loved our stay!
The people in the community are very nice for the most part. There's sections that are more fun and loud. Then always the crabs 🦀 that call the security over a fart. The campground is very clean but aged and can definitely use some more updating especially entertainment for the youth & teens there is 0 to do after 9pm. Idk 1 Friday a month a Teen Pool Party with Parents Volunteering to chaperone and provide snacks ect charge a few bucks a kid for a DJ and Pizza. Karaokes family nights, then kids ond and an adult one. The pools are very nicely kept. The Store closes when pool closes so better get your snacks and ice prior to 7pm Ziggy Food Stand Awesome closes also with the pool will accommodate catering orders ect. The arcade closes by 4pm idk why the parents can't have a group and rotate the arcade like security so the kids do not damage anything like the bathrooms and the arcade again. The price we pay yearly to rent the spot. Around 9,200. The Cabins are adorable my kids stay down there in the larger lake ones. Great location to ⛱️ beach points and night life in Seaisle, Wildwood, AC, Ventnor, Margate *dry non alcohol town* has a [WEED DISPENSARY] go figure that logic Ocean City, if you have little ones for the boardwalk and rides. It's safe and very family oriented geared towards the little ones. Larger rides in the rear of the pier. Very clean. The older kids love Wildwood ❤️ I do also however; the boardwalk has been getting out of control. If you are lugging coaches or elderly not the best idea for safety. The best rides 4 teens.
We stayed here in one of the cottages for a four day visit to the South Jersey shore. While it was fine for what it was, there's definitely some things anyone thinking about booking here should know:The cottage was well sized for us (two adults, three kids). The main bedroom was almost entirely taken up by the bed, and if you don't like squishy pillows, consider bringing your own. We also had to make the beds in the bunk bed room ourselves. The bathroom was smaller, and there's only a shower, not a tub. The shower had INSANE water pressure - I don't want to be power washed after getting a sunburn. The showerhead also sprayed unevenly, with half of you getting blasted while the other half has normal pressure. The packet they give you when you check in has a lot to say and is very strict about cleaning (take out your own trash, sweep the floor, clean and put away dishes, don't use towels to clean messes), but the floor of the cottage was absolutely filthy, and they provided only a broom, not a mop. I don't want to get into bed with black feet, but it was that or wear shoes the entire time you're inside. We also found caked on food residue on one of the pans, and the big pot had coffee in it. I don't know why you would put coffee in a pot that big, but it was brown liquid that smelled like coffee, so I don't know what else it could have been.Speaking of the kitchen, they say it has everything you need, but we did not find that to be the case. There were no ice cube trays in the freezer, and no dish drying rack. There wasn't a cutting board, or a knife suitable for cutting meat or veggies. There also wasn't a strainer or colander. They also didn't provide a kitchen towel, which was annoying, as I didn't want to have to keep running into the bathroom to dry my hands, and the only way to dry dishes was with paper towels. So keep all of that in mind if you plan on cooking, and consider bringing your own supplies.Check in was a little different, as you do it at the entry gate, not the office, which was not noted anywhere we saw. Also, their own website says you can pay the balance at check in, but they called to tell us that we needed to pay before that. The campground was pretty, and the pool was well maintained, and it was nice that there were two separate pools, so you could move from one to the other if you wanted. There was a nice playground for the kids, and they seem very pet friendly too.The Wi-Fi is an add-on. We did not opt to purchase it, after seeing a lot of reviews saying it was unreliable, if you could get it to work at all.The campground is centrally located, which was a big reason we chose it. You're less than half an hour from Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Wildwood, and Cape May.
