The community is situated in a landscape characterized by dense forests and rolling hills, providing a serene backdrop for its residents. Living in a manufactured home community like Pocono Plateau Park often appeals to those looking for a sense of autonomy in their housing while benefiting from the shared infrastructure of a managed park. As the demand for affordable housing options in Pennsylvania continues to grow, locations like Blakeslee provide a vital service by offering a place for permanent residency within one of the state's most popular vacation destinations.

Location and accessibility are among the primary draws for residents of Pocono Plateau Park. Specifically, its proximity to Pennsylvania Route 115 and Interstate 80 makes it an ideal spot for commuters who may work in surrounding areas but prefer the quietude of a rural setting. Being in the heart of the Poconos means that residents are only a short drive away from iconic landmarks such as Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski resorts, as well as the Pocono Raceway.

For daily necessities, the local Blakeslee area provides essential shopping, dining, and professional services. When considering a move to a mobile home park in the Poconos, it is worth choosing a location that balances cost with convenience. Pocono Plateau Park is a choice often made by those who are looking for a straightforward, no-frills living arrangement that prioritizes location above all else. Because it is situated in Blakeslee, it serves as a gateway to both the natural wonders of Pennsylvania and the practical necessities of modern life.

Choosing this park is often motivated by the desire to live in a region where the air is fresh and the pace of life is significantly slower than in the city. The month-to-month flexibility that is common in such communities can be an advantage for those who are in transition or who prefer not to be locked into long-term traditional mortgages. While living in a mountain region comes with challenges—such as managing through cold winters and maintaining older infrastructure—the trade-off is often found in the peace and quiet that Pocono Plateau Park provides.

Prospective residents should always perform their own due diligence when selecting a manufactured home community. This includes visiting the site at different times of the day, speaking with current neighbors to understand the community culture, and thoroughly reviewing the lease agreement. In a rural setting like Blakeslee, understanding how utilities like water and heating are managed is crucial for a comfortable experience. Despite the varying feedback common to any rental or park community, many find that the ability to live in the heart of the Poconos at an affordable price point is a compelling reason to call Pocono Plateau Park home.

Ultimately, Pocono Plateau Park serves as a functional piece of the Blakeslee housing market. It caters to a demographic that appreciates the rugged beauty of Pennsylvania and seeks a residential base that allows them to enjoy the great outdoors every single day. For those who prioritize a location near Route 115 and value the simplicity of mobile home living, this park remains a notable option in the Monroe County landscape.

Scum lord… does not fix his property… will evicted you for any little thing. Can’t fight it court cuz it’s month to month lease so there’s a lot of laws he don’t need to follow. Horrible water pressure if you even have water let alone safe drinking water. Pipes freeze all the time. Oh shared well with all his properties. Every property I’ve been on of his has black moldAnd mice everywhere! Our rental has black mold and water leaking through window and we got blamed for it! Floors caving in and our sinks leak..
