It is widely recognized as a "Good Sam" park, reflecting a commitment to quality standards and service that regular campers in Pennsylvania have come to expect. The social fabric of the park is woven together by the inviting nature of both the staff and the regular camping community, often leading to lifelong friendships among those who share the campfire light.

Location and accessibility are two of the most significant advantages of choosing Pocono Vacation Park. Situated at 110 Arnie Way in Stroudsburg, PA, the campground is remarkably easy to reach from major metropolitan areas. Its proximity to major highways like I-80 and Route 33 makes it an ideal stopover for those traveling through the state or a convenient primary destination for a weekend getaway.

Beyond its internal peace, the park’s location serves as a gateway to the best attractions in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Stayed at this campground for about a month before needing to leave to Texas... We were supposed to stay in Texas for a few months but ended up coming back two weeks later and specifically called here to come back. Staff are absolutely amazing, The other campers are so inviting, friendly and down to earth. They hold activities on the weekends that we love going to. We've stayed in about seven campgrounds within the last 2 years and this is by far the best one.

This is a low key, humble campground. There are full timers, seasonal and dailies. The owners and staff are wonderful and very friendly. They have a boat playground for the kids and nice decent pools. There is no fenced doggie run but they have a huge field ground to play for campers and for your furry friends to play. They also have tiny store for some emergency needs. They only have 1 rental cabin. There us no bathroom in the cabin so you need to use the bathhouse and you need to bring your own bedding. They also offer propane tanks refill for a very reasonable prize. Nice bathhouse in the front of the campground. Best of all, this campground is close to everything the Poconos can offer. From shopping, skiing, dining, hiking, boating you name it. And yes, in case of an emergency, St. Luke's hospital is 3 mins away. So check it out and have fun!!! God bless us all!!!!

Good location, the short term sites are a good size. The interaction with the office ladies was not good. We checked in and went to pay and was told we owed $65 more than what was quoted and written down as being owed. I mentioned it to the older lady that was helping us and she got very upset and raised her voice and said that the number of days was wrong and we owed more. I paid and after setting up I looked at our receipt and we were charged for 10 days and not the 9 we were staying.I talked to Heather at the gate and she was very nice and said that Peggy could help us in the office the next day to get the extra night refunded. No problem, this happens and I wasn't overly worried about, just wanted the extra night refunded eventually. I went in the next day to talk to Peggy about the refund. She was quite short with me and said she already knew all about it and to just give her my card to refund. I wanted to discuss with her the possibility of extending our stay for about a month if that was possible. After some sighs and grunts and throwing up of hands she said they may have a spot. I told her I would know later in the day if I would need to extend and would get back her and we could wait on the refund till then.We decided that after the interaction with both Peggy and the other office lady that we would not extend, we felt unwelcome and a burden. I went back to the office to tell Peggy we would not be extending and would like the refund of the extra day they charged us. While I was in the office she was all chatty and laughing with the full timers from the park that were in the office but when it came time for me to talk to her she was blunt and rude. I had to give her my card and also asked if I could purchase propane. She grunted and sighed again, acting like I was asking for a miracle. After the refund was processed and propane was purchased, she threw my card at me and told me to sign the receipts and go outside to wait for the person to help me with the propane. After being treated that way, we decided to leave early, and it was just a terrible experience. We will not be going back. So just a heads up that you may encounter some not so nice individuals working the office.

Attitude from person at desk in a condensing way. Actted like everyone knew how to get into gate. No real signs. Its like a grass covered parking lot. Spaces jammed up against each other with no real privacy to mention. I'd only go there if I was desperate. Not very special at all.
