Customer Reviews
We had so much fun at Pop's Lake Campground. The campground is huge, deep in the woods, and very family friendly. Tons of activities that my daughter loved. The regulars accepted us weekend cabin renters as one of their own.
Such a wonderful campground. We got a great amount of dry wood delivered within 5 minutes to our cabin. The rowboat that came with our cabin was big and the lake was calm, peaceful, and great for fishing. We had a great Memorial Day weekend and didn’t spend much for it! The communal bath house was clean and so was the entire campground overall. Very dog and family friendly. We can’t wait to come back!
Stayed Labor Day weekend in Cabin 1 (primitive - no utilities)...2 drawbacks - bathroom is not close to cabins, and no safety rail on top bunk (10 yr. old son fell off while sleeping); lake is beautiful, grounds were nice, they have scheduled activities, bathrooms were clean and had free showers..no issues with hot water
I absolutely adore this campground. I've been coming here since I was a teenager, with my family. The owner and staff work really hard to keep this place in tip top shape and it shows. Everything about this place is fantastic.
Cabin was clean and as dry as a lake side cabin can be. Bathroom/showers clean. Heck even the outhouse was useable. Swim area in the lake by my cabin was small but having free access to the canoes made relaxing on the 'lake' very enjoyable. Getting through the campgrounds in my car was brutal, might have to rent a 4x4 next time. Customer service was excellent. I would definitely return.
