Quinta Las Cabanas Grove Introduce

Quinta Las Cabanas Grove, formerly known as Blue Falls Grove, serves as a multifaceted recreational and social hub for residents of Reading, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding Berks County area. This unique destination combines the traditional outdoor appeal of a campground with the vibrant energy of a community event center. Nestled in a lush, wooded setting, the grove offers a serene environment where local families can escape the daily grind to enjoy nature, whether they are staying for a weekend of camping or visiting for one of the many cultural festivals hosted on the grounds. The property is characterized by its expansive open spaces, mature trees, and a neighborly atmosphere that welcomes both short-term visitors and long-term residential campers.

The mission of Quinta Las Cabanas Grove is to provide a space where "Yiddishkeit" or community spirit thrives through shared experiences. It is particularly well-regarded in the Reading region for its commitment to hosting large-scale community events, such as the Berks County Taco Fest and various Latin festivals. For local users, the grove represents a vital gathering place that bridges the gap between private relaxation and public celebration. While the campground provides a rustic setting for those living the "van life" or pitching a tent, the grove’s true strength lies in its ability to transform into a lively festival ground that celebrates the rich cultural diversity of Pennsylvania.

Location and accessibility are primary benefits for those choosing this campground. Conveniently located at 91A Bowers Road in Reading, the grove is just minutes away from the intersection of major transit routes including I-78 (Exit 12), Route 61, and Route 73. This strategic positioning makes it an easy drive for residents of Lancaster, Allentown, and the nearby Cabela’s area. To ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors, the facility features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot. The layout of the grounds allows for easy navigation for both passenger vehicles and larger RV units, providing a hassle-free arrival for guests looking to set up camp or attend a special event.

The services offered at Quinta Las Cabanas Grove are designed to accommodate a wide range of needs, from basic overnight camping to full-scale event catering. The staff is experienced in managing both the logistical requirements of an RV park and the hospitality demands of a party venue. Services include:

  • RV camping sites with options for both 30-amp and 50-amp electrical hookups.
  • Dedicated RV water hookups and access to a dump station (available for a separate fee for non-monthly residents).
  • Seasonal and year-round monthly site rentals for those seeking a more permanent residential camping solution.
  • Tent camping areas that provide a more traditional, "back-to-nature" experience under the trees.
  • Professional catering services and pavilion rentals for private parties, weddings, graduations, and corporate picnics.
  • Modern payment processing that accepts debit cards and NFC mobile payments for convenience.
  • Weekly dump services included in the monthly rate for long-term RV tenants.

The features and highlights of the facility emphasize outdoor recreation and community gathering. The grounds are equipped with amenities that make it a favorite for families with children. Key highlights include:

  • Large picnic pavilions and numerous shaded picnic areas equipped with barbecue grills and picnic tables.
  • A dedicated playground and swing sets, making the environment "good for kids" and active play.
  • On-site fishing opportunities and observable water features nearby that enhance the tranquil atmosphere.
  • Public restroom facilities with running water and access to on-site showers (available for a per-person or family fee).
  • A pet-friendly policy that allows dogs, ensuring that the entire family can enjoy the outdoors together.
  • Abundant on-site parking to accommodate large groups during community festivals and special events.
  • Versatile event spaces that regularly host live music, food truck rallies, and cultural celebrations.

For those interested in visiting or booking the venue for a private function, the administration can be reached through several channels. The physical address is 91A Bowers Rd, Reading, PA 19605, USA. You may contact the office by phone at (484) 454-0147 or their mobile line at +1 484-454-0147. For event-specific inquiries or catering quotes, guests can also reach out via their official website or social media pages, where they frequently post updates regarding upcoming community festivals and weekend activities.

What is worth choosing about Quinta Las Cabanas Grove is its versatility and deep-rooted connection to the local community. Unlike more secluded or strictly commercial campgrounds, the Grove offers a lively, socially-engaged environment. It is an excellent choice for those who enjoy the social aspect of camping and want to be at the center of local festivities. For residents of the Reading area, choosing this location means supporting a local business that actively contributes to the cultural fabric of Berks County. Whether you are looking for an affordable monthly RV spot with a 10x10 patio space or a scenic venue for a family reunion, Quinta Las Cabanas Grove provides a flexible, friendly, and accessible solution in a beautiful Pennsylvania setting.

I love that they host a variety of events for the community. Always a good time! Observable water feature nearby. However, the RV campground needs a serious upgrade to the shower area and non-existent pool if I were living that van life.

At one time this may have been five star place but today it appears to be a place for people to live in there RV. Pictures indicate that. No picnic tables, no fire rings, no dump station that I could find. Water yes, electric was iffy. Did not see any bathroom facilities. High priced at $55 a night. Would not recommend.

I hate to have to write a bad review. However, I do not recommend this place. We actually had nice people on the phone, and they seemed very helpful. However, the site left much to be desired. Most of the sites are taken by people who reside there. There's a beautiful dog that is stuck living in the area around the abandoned, extremely dilapidated pool. There was no map of the site, so I have no idea if there was a bath house or any other convenience. They were supposed to come by and pump us out on Saturday, but they did not. My husband managed to find someone on the grounds who said they were about to come around, but he had to cut the grass first, and he said it would take about 30 minutes. Since we were ready to go, we drove around to the dump site ourselves, and over 30 minutes later, the guy was just going to cut the grass. As we were about to leave, a resident started chatting with us and asked how we felt about the water situation. We asked what they were talking about, and they proceeded to tell us that you could not drink the water even if you boiled it. You would think that we would have been told about this when we checked it! There is water nearby, which was nice and pavilions and a stage for events. I think this place is more suited to host festivals and bands than being a campsite. It is located conveniently near many things like gas, groceries, and necessities, but that's the only plus. If you're used to bondocking, this could be an inexpensive place to stay. There was no wifi to be found either - thank goodness for mobile hotspots.

I lived there for a year. The bathrooms are dirty and grimy I went one time and found mens soap in the women's bathroom half of the toilet stalls don't work. The owner then charged everyone and extra $300 because of electric, but there was an electric car plugged in 24/7. BEWARE the guy who runs it is shady. His dog is running around the pool area and there are people on Megan's law that they don't tell you about definitely do your research before you move there especially if you have little kids. He's charging $700 and weekly pumps which vary in time during the week. Just don't go here saying from experience.
