When choosing a campground in the Maryland region, Roaring Point is worth choosing for its authentic, family-oriented atmosphere and its unparalleled views of the Nanticoke River. Unlike larger, corporate-run parks, Roaring Point retains a personal touch that makes every guest feel like part of the Pepper family’s heritage. The combination of a peaceful, wooded setting and direct beach access provides a versatile vacation experience—one day you can be enjoying the high energy of a live band at the pavilion, and the next you can find total solitude on the riverbank.

The value of staying here is enhanced by the sheer size of the campsites and the quality of the natural surroundings. For Marylanders who enjoy fishing and crabbing, the convenience of having a private pier and beach just steps from their camper is a major advantage. Furthermore, the commitment to cleanliness and the friendly, welcoming nature of both the staff and the seasonal community create an environment where children can play safely and adults can truly unwind. Choosing Roaring Point means choosing a quintessential Eastern Shore experience that focuses on what matters most: family, nature, and the best sunsets in the state. We took our camper. Nice spots, nice breeze, but mosquitoes and little black bugs bite! The store has everything. People are very nice. Clean bathrooms and showers. Beautiful sun rises and sunsets!!

Nice campground. No cell service so we couldn't call at the locked gate because no one sent my entry packet but other campers came to our rescue! It's a lovely place. We crabbed, fished, and paddle boarded until the weather turned colder. It's secluded and basic. No pool. The little store is well stocked and even has some beer and wine! We used our ebikes to explore nearby parks and were impressed with the amount of green spaces preserved in the area, including several marinas. Very relaxing place to camp. Everyone is very nice. No rowdyness. We'll be back again! Oh and the land end of the pier is missing and a rather funny drop off into the water during high tides.

Campground is in need of repairs. For $100 dollars a night with a credit card surcharge I expected a clean shower and a completed dock. The views are gorgeous. Sites are large and even, but to get on the fishing/crabbing dock you have to wade in the water and climb up (high for me) onto the dock. We were here with our grandsons and one enjoyed catching crabs. There was an art activity one morning. Bingo one afternoon and music in the evening
