The campground is bordered by the pristine Lycoming Creek, providing a stunning backdrop of rushing water and forested hills that change brilliantly with the seasons.

Under the dedicated care of owners Chuck and Marie Mertes, Squarewood Acres has recently undergone a "refresh," ensuring that all facilities are modern, clean, and inviting. The community vibe here is palpable, with many guests returning year after year to enjoy the quietude that only a mountain-nestled park can provide. Whether you are arriving in a large RV or prefer the simplicity of a tent under the stars, the campground is designed to be your home base for exploring the vast wilderness of Lycoming County. It serves as a perfect sanctuary for those who want to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with the sights and sounds of the forest.

Choosing Squarewood Acres Campground is worth it for anyone who values a clean, quiet, and authentically "Pennsylvanian" outdoor experience. In a market often dominated by large, crowded resort-style parks, Squarewood stands out as a "gem" that offers a personal touch. It is worth choosing because it provides the rare combination of rugged mountain scenery and high-quality amenities like full hookups and working Wi-Fi. The warmth of the owners, Chuck and Marie, ensures that you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another reservation number.

Furthermore, the value for money at this location is exceptional. Whether you are an avid angler looking for the perfect trout stream or a family seeking a safe, kid-friendly environment to explore the woods, Squarewood Acres delivers a peaceful retreat that is hard to match. Its location between the mountains provides a sense of seclusion and remoteness, yet its proximity to Trout Run and Williamsport means you are never too far from modern conveniences. If you are looking for a place where you can wake up to the sound of the creek and spend your days exploring the Allegheny peaks, Squarewood Acres is a top-tier choice for your next Pennsylvania getaway.

We had a wonderful time at this campground! Our full hookup site was in great condition and you could tell the whole place has had a recent refresh – everything looked well cared for and inviting. The trout stream running alongside the property was a highlight; we enjoyed fishing and even cooling off in the clear, refreshing water. The Wi-Fi actually worked (a rare find at many campgrounds!), which was a nice bonus. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. You can tell they truly care about their guests and the property.Between the beautiful setting, the amenities, and the warm hospitality, this campground is a gem.

If you are clean for a place to chill this is where you want to be. Peaceful, respectful and very friendly atmosphere. Everything was clean and well kept. It was the perfect place to relax. Even on one of the busiest weekends, July 4th, we had plenty of space at our site. We enjoyed playing in the creek and watching fireworks from different locations all from the campground. Thanks Chuck and Marie it was a wonderful stay!
