Sun Valley Campground Introduce

Sun Valley Campground, often referred to as Sun Valley RV Resort, is a premier outdoor destination located in the picturesque landscapes of Narvon, Pennsylvania. Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, this resort offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty and modern recreational facilities. For residents of Pennsylvania looking for a local escape, Sun Valley provides an expansive 40-acre wooded setting that serves as an ideal home base for exploring the rich cultural heritage of Lancaster and Berks Counties. Whether you are a seasoned RV traveler or a family looking for a comfortable cabin rental, the campground is designed to facilitate a relaxing "home away from home" experience with a strong emphasis on community and family fun.

The atmosphere at Sun Valley is characterized by its friendly, welcoming spirit, often highlighted by guests as one of the most hospitable parks in the region. The property features a mix of seasonal residents and short-term travelers, creating a vibrant neighborhood feel where advice on backing into a site or the best local fishing spots is readily shared. For those who enjoy a lively social calendar, the campground is known for its organized weekend activities, which range from live concert-worthy bands to themed events like flashlight candy searches and holiday crafts. It is a place where the rolling hills of Pennsylvania provide a serene backdrop for making lasting memories by the campfire or at the poolside.

Sun Valley Campground is conveniently situated at 451 E Maple Grove Rd, Narvon, PA 17555. Its location is strategically positioned for easy accessibility from various parts of the state, being approximately 20 minutes from Reading and 24 minutes from Lancaster. For those traveling from the Philadelphia area, the drive is just over an hour, making it a viable option for a quick weekend getaway. The campground is reached via E Maple Grove Road, and while the terrain in this part of Pennsylvania is famously hilly, the park’s internal roads are maintained to accommodate standard vehicles and RVs. Visitors should be aware that the park’s natural, elevated setting can result in limited cellular and Wi-Fi service in certain areas, encouraging a true "off-the-grid" relaxation experience.

Accessibility is a priority at Sun Valley, with the facility offering a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, and restrooms. The park layout includes several terraced levels to maximize the wooded views, and while some sites are situated on inclines, the staff is available to assist guests with navigation. The main community areas, including the pavilion and the pool, are designed to be inclusive, ensuring that all guests can participate in the resort's highlights. Free on-site parking is provided for guests, and the park maintains a strict speed limit to ensure the safety of pedestrians and children playing throughout the grounds.

The services offered at Sun Valley Campground are comprehensive, catering to a variety of camping needs from primitive setups to luxury RV stays. The onsite management focuses on maintaining a clean and safe environment, with recently renovated facilities that enhance the guest experience. The service team is frequently praised for their organization and willingness to go "above and beyond" to ensure a smooth check-in and stay.

Choosing Sun Valley Campground is worth it for anyone seeking a traditional, activity-rich camping experience in one of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful regions. The value of this resort lies in its versatility; it is just as suitable for a quiet week of fishing and reading under the mature trees as it is for a high-energy family vacation filled with swimming and organized games. For RV owners, the availability of big-rig friendly sites with full 50-amp service provides the technical reliability needed for a stress-free stay. Meanwhile, those without an RV can still enjoy the resort lifestyle through the well-appointed vacation cottages that offer all the comforts of home.

Furthermore, Sun Valley is worth choosing because of its proximity to the "Antiques Capital of the US" in Adamstown and the iconic smorgasbords of Lancaster County. You can spend your day exploring local Amish farm stands or thrilling at the nearby Maple Grove Raceway, then return to a clean, well-maintained park that feels miles away from the noise of the city. The genuine hospitality of the staff and the "happy place" vibe shared by seasonal campers make Sun Valley a factual and highly recommended choice for your next Pennsylvania camping adventure.

Received email that my reservation was confirmed and what my spot was. Showed up and no paperwork was there for me and was told I wasn't on the books to be there. Was next to impossible to pull up information as there is zero cell service or wifi. Was then told there was no cable either so we were essentially disconnected. Ended up only staying one night as it didn't feel worth it to be there. The overall campground was clean and maintained. The sites were well kept. Avoid thousand trails and their membership stuff at all costs.
