What is worth choosing

Choosing Thousand Trails Hershey is a decision that guarantees both convenience and variety. One of the most compelling reasons to select this campground is its strategic location. Being so close to the Hershey attractions allows you to beat the morning traffic and return to a peaceful, natural setting the moment you leave the park gates. This "best of both worlds" scenario—quiet nature by night and world-class entertainment by day—is a hallmark of the Lebanon camping experience.

Furthermore, the social atmosphere of the park is truly standout. Unlike more isolated campgrounds, Thousand Trails Hershey fosters a sense of community. The staff is frequently praised by local regulars for their proactive engagement, such as handing out popsicles on hot days or organizing community potlucks that bring neighbors together. For families with children, the sheer volume of amenities—from the pool and mini-golf to the dedicated kids' programs—means there is never a dull moment. If you value a clean, secure, and active environment where you can relax while your children explore safely, this Lebanon landmark is the ideal choice for your next Pennsylvania adventure.

Finally, the flexibility of the site options makes it worth choosing for any traveler. Whether you prefer the "H" loop for its reliable full hookups and modern conveniences or a more secluded spot near the lake for the best wildlife views, the park's diverse layout ensures you can find a space that fits your personal camping style. With its high ratings for facility completeness and the natural beauty of the surrounding valley, Thousand Trails Hershey remains a top-tier pick for anyone looking to experience the heart of the Commonwealth.

Gorgeous park, very well maintained, staff is great, they are on the ball. Their membership sales lady is top notch. In the park constantly engaging with guests, giving out popsicles and speaking to people. Very friendly. The geese and wildlife here is beautiful, the pool is perfect. The only thing I saw that was needed was a new coat of paint on the miniature golf course. Close to resources and Hershey Park.

Pool is not heated literally ice cold water Camp store is not open m, t, w, opens on Thursday at 12. Can’t get firewood when not open lots of other places to buy it though close by. 1 play ground In whole park not even swings all play equipment was covered in sand.putt putt was completely trashy long nails hanging out of wood looks like hasn’t been cleaned up in 10 years. Fire pits are sunk inches in the ground. Campground could be much nicer with some time effort and money for the price we rented our cabin for this place needs some work and attention.
