Located in the historic city of Salisbury, this all-age community is designed to provide a foundational living space for those who appreciate the balance of a small-town atmosphere and the convenience of urban amenities. As part of a larger network of manufactured housing neighborhoods in the region, Walston caters to a diverse demographic, ranging from young professionals and families to retirees looking to downsize. In an era where traditional real estate prices continue to climb, communities like Walston serve as an essential resource for Marylanders seeking to maintain a high quality of life within a manageable budget.
The community is managed with a focus on providing consistent support to its residents. Transitioning into a manufactured home community often allows residents to experience the benefits of homeownership, such as having a private yard and a dedicated driveway, without the high entry costs of stick-built homes. At Walston, the emphasis is on creating a standard residential environment where residents can establish long-term roots. The management team works to ensure the grounds remain functional, providing a stable backdrop for those who work in Salisbury’s growing medical, educational, and agricultural sectors. For local residents, it represents a practical choice for living in one of the most vibrant regions of the Delmarva Peninsula.

For those working or studying at Salisbury University or Wor-Wic Community College, the commute is remarkably short. Additionally, the community is within a ten-minute drive of the TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Medical Center, one of the region's largest employers and healthcare providers. Shopping centers, grocery stores, and local dining favorites like Cactus Tavern are all located within the immediate vicinity, making daily errands simple and efficient.

Would be a nice place to live if you got rid of the gang members and blatant drug dealers who drive around blaring rap music endlessly with no tags on their cars. He threatened my life for asking to turn their music down politely. I moved here to rehab a persons home and lasted all of 3 weeks before I just left. Me (and several neighbors complaints about one specific individual clearly with high traffic to their home went unresolved). I reported them to the narcotics task force of MSP , hopefully that fixes the problem for the other poor people who have to live next to J-ROC from the trailer park boys
The manager “Claudette” does nothing as residents threaten to shoot my son and ENDLESSLY blare rap music from 4pm to 11pm in a red jeep with no Iicense plates…hmmm wonder why? she’s gotten endless compliments and calls but does nothing about it.
The story below is my personal story that happened in one of their mobile home parksJune 2024 my home caught fire rendering it uninhabitable I was told it would be fixed as the lease with purchase agreement said “anything over 500$” will be their responsibilityIt took awhile of back and forth they said they would fix it and then did not and said I needed to have homeowners insurance (can’t when you don’t own the trailer ) the home sat with insulation and water for weeks till I cleaned it up on my own dollarStill very uninhabitable and where the fire was / water grew ALOT. Of mold still nothingI tried to pay it off for less -nothing .Finally offering to find a new buyer I did !Unfortunately it took a really long time for them to approve my first buyer I moved to a second / someone who invests into properties of their park was accepted immediately I took a bit of a loss sale wise but after 8 months I was just happy to be done .While living there and during I can say they were never great at communication / and didn’t want to fix things I also owned another home in their park since 2019. Both are now sold .
Was alittle disappointed, wasn't able to move the home out of park. Overall Beth was very kind and pleasant. Was very nice meeting Beth.
