What is Worth Choosing

If you are looking for a vacation that nourishes both the body and the soul, Word of Life Pines is an exceptional choice. One of the most unique features worth choosing is the "Morning Coffee Delivery" tradition; guests who leave their mugs on their picnic tables by 6:30 AM are greeted with a fresh fill-up of artisan brew, allowing for a quiet, reflective start to the day. For families with children, the specialized age-appropriate Bible programs are highly recommended. These sessions provide high-quality care and education, allowing parents to attend their own speaker sessions with peace of mind.

For those who prefer a more comfortable outdoor experience, the newly built guest cabins are worth the investment. These units offer modern amenities, including full baths and kitchens, which are perfect for families with young children or seniors. Additionally, the optional whitewater rafting trips—facilitated through a partnership with local outdoor centers—provide an exhilarating way to experience the Hudson or Sacandaga rivers. By choosing Word of Life Pines, you are not just selecting a place to park an RV or pitch a tent; you are choosing to join a community that values safety, integrity, and the creation of lifelong family memories in one of the most beautiful settings in New York.

Certainly the best private campground we regularly go to. We have come for about 40 years as we get opportunity. Especially when our kids were younger. Now the grandkids come. 3 of my children worked here in the summers on staff as well.

This place certainly has changed in 30 years. Many new cabins and bath houses. The food is good, the staff are usually high-school aged but very helpful. The place is clean and quiet after 10:30pm. Very family oriented.

The pines is perhaps the best camping I've done in a long time. You can make your own food at your camp site or sign up for a meal plan for a price. The food is very good, and the speakers they have come really make the time worthwhile and edifying for your spirit.

Our family (and extended family) love coming to the Pines each summer. My kids ask all year long when it will be time to come again. There's plenty of activities to keep everyone busy - a nice playground, swimming pool, numerous sports, a pond to fish in or boat on, mini golf, and the list goes on. Each day there is also Bible teaching in the morning for all ages. The kids have a blast at kid's program. As far as accommodations go, there's something for everyone. They have tent sites, RV sites, primitive cabins, glamping sites, cabins, and brand new cottages.Being at the Pines is a breath of fresh air and I'd recommend it to everyone.
