We booked our first weekend at Adventure Bound and had a wonderful time! It was not crowded at all, but the staff worked hard to create a fun Halloween experience for the kids! We stayed Fri-Sun. At check-in the staff was very welcoming and gave us all the activities planned. They had an adorable Halloween train, pumpkin picking and decorating, caramel apple dipping, and of course trick or treating. Our pull through spot was spacious enough for our 38ft travel trailer and we appreciated the daily trash pick up. A friend stayed in one of their cabins and although I did not personally go inside, they commented on how nice and clean it was. Shout out to Miss Raye who was especially wonderful during the children’s activities. We will definitely be back to this campground!

This was our first season at the campground, and honestly, we were a little apprehensive at first since we’ve always traveled around and never stayed in one place for long. But we’re so glad we did — it turned out to be the best summer we’ve had in a long time! Our site was perfect — large, flat, and nicely shaded. The new management is fantastic and truly go above and beyond — they’re always around and ready to help with anything you need. The people here are super friendly, and it really feels like a community. There’s so much for the kids to do, from daily water slide fun to train rides twice a day! They also put on special activities for every holiday weekend, and our absolute favorite was Halloween. The haunted train ride was incredible — the staff got into character, and the witch’s cackle was spot on!We can’t wait for next season — we’re already counting down the days!

This place was amazing. We came for the weekend Halloween event for the kids and it didn't disappoint. They had a bunch of activities planned for the kids including pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, making caramel apples, train ride and trick or treating. The staff was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We were also upgraded to a deluxe cabin free of charge. The kids had an amazing weekend and we plan to go back for years to come

We had the most amazing time at Adventure Bound Campground in Cape May for their Halloween-themed weekend! 🎃👻From start to finish, everything was so thoughtfully planned and truly family-friendly. My 7-year-old daughter absolutely loved the Halloween arts and crafts which kept her engaged and excited, and it was such a fun way to kick off the weekend. The highlight for us was the train ride. It took us to a pumpkin patch where the kids could pick their own pumpkins, and then on to the rec hall to paint them. There were so many picture-perfect spots along the way, and what really impressed me was the inclusivity where the train even has a wheelchair-accessible caboose. Having worked in the ADA sector for over 10 years, it was heartwarming to see such thoughtful accommodations so that everyone can share in the experience.Even the practical side of camping is made easy here. Our RV site didn’t have sewer, but they came by every morning to pump us, which was so convenient. One evening, after our daughter accidentally left the water running and filled the entire tank, a staff member kindly came back after hours to help us out. That level of service is rare and so appreciated.Speaking of staff, they are some of the friendliest we’ve ever met in our travels. You can tell they genuinely care about both the campground and the families who stay here. We’ve camped all over the east coast, and the effort this team puts in, especially for the kids really stands out.The trick-or-treating was a blast! They organized it perfectly so you knew which sites were participating, and campers went all out with costumes and decorations. And the haunted train ride at night? Phenomenal. The staff dressed up, decorated the campground with so much creativity, and even added jump-scare moments that had everyone laughing and screaming in the best way.Overall, the entire weekend was nothing short of magical.

This place was the worst camping experience of my life and my husband and I have done camping all across the country. I called two weeks ahead of time to find out if we would be able to set up early if the spot was available and I was told no problem. If there’s nobody in the spot, you can set up whenever you get here. We drove eight hours to come to this campground to go to the beach, arriving around 11 AM. I went to the front desk to ask if we would be able to check in early, and older woman behind the counter immediately said checkouts not till one so I asked her is our spot still occupied I was just wondering if we could check in a little early she looked at the computer and said they haven’t checked out yet. I said OK I’ll check back in later. My husband and I walked around the campground and came across the spot that we were assigned according to our email and there was no one there. I went back in the office and spoke with the same lady and told her that our spot was empty and she yelled at me. I told you check out was at one. Why are you coming back in here? So she lied right to my face and didn’t like it when she got called out. I then said again the spot is empty, she said she would have to talk to her manager. My husband and I sat on the couch in the waiting area and we could hear her talking about us. Then she calls over to us and says that we can go back to Our campsite as she proceeds to slam down the two sheets of information that we needed on the counter. This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve had at a campground. I then asked about my daughter staying, and if it would cost extra money, then she yelled at me again only two to a tent and she said this to me at least three times meanwhile, there were other campers there, with way more than two people at a spot. My daughter did join us.I did speak to the manager about this a couple days later and she apologized to me. I don’t know if the situation was really ever addressed. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and the woman that was in there cleaning wasn’t really cleaning at all.I honestly would encourage you to find another campground and not waste your money at this one. It was the worst experience I’ve had camping. There is another campground right across the street that I hear is wonderful, please go there!,,,,I see below that the owners comment on the reviews, if you’re reading this, I would love for you to contact me directly with an apology.
