As an all-age community, it caters to a diverse demographic, ranging from young professionals and growing families to retirees looking to downsize. The community is designed to provide the benefits of homeownership without the substantial price tag often associated with traditional site-built homes in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. Managed by professional staff, the community emphasizes a neighborly atmosphere where residents can enjoy the balance of private home living and communal engagement.

The manufactured housing industry has evolved significantly, and Arundel Meadows reflects this shift by offering contemporary homes with modern layouts. Residents often appreciate the ability to own their dwelling while leasing the land it sits on, a model that has become a staple for affordable living in Maryland. The community is structured to handle day-to-day management responsibilities, allowing residents to focus on their personal lives and enjoy the landscaped environment of the park. For those in the Maryland region looking for a strategic home base, Arundel Meadows provides a practical and cost-effective alternative to traditional apartments or expensive single-family houses.

Arundel Meadows is centrally located at 1B Chesapeake Mobile Ct, Hanover, MD 21076, USA. This prime location is one of its most cited advantages, as it sits just 13 miles from Baltimore and is within easy commuting distance of Washington, D.C., and Annapolis. Accessibility is a hallmark of this community; it is situated near major thoroughfares such as Route 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) and Route 100, facilitating smooth travel throughout the region. For frequent travelers, the community is remarkably close to the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), making it an ideal spot for those with careers in aviation or logistics.

Beyond highway access, the community is well-integrated into the local infrastructure. It is located within a quality school district, which is a primary consideration for many local families. Residents have immediate access to a variety of essential retail and entertainment hubs, including the expansive Arundel Mills Mall, Costco, Walmart, and ALDI. Public transportation options, including local buses and nearby train stations, provide further connectivity for those who prefer not to drive. Furthermore, the community prioritizes inclusive access, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot to accommodate residents and guests with mobility needs.

Arundel Meadows offers a range of services aimed at simplifying the living experience for its residents. The community functions as more than just a place to park a home; it acts as a comprehensive housing provider. The primary services offered include:

When evaluating housing in the Hanover area, Arundel Meadows is worth choosing for several logistical and lifestyle reasons. The most prominent factor is the location; being "in the middle of the action" near Arundel Mills and major employment hubs significantly reduces commute times and puts every modern convenience within a five-minute drive. For families, the stability of being in a recognized school district while maintaining a lower monthly housing cost allows for a higher quality of life and more financial flexibility. The all-age nature of the community ensures a vibrant environment where different generations can coexist, creating a traditional neighborhood feel that is sometimes lost in high-density apartment complexes.

Furthermore, the opportunity for homeownership in a region where property values are rapidly rising is a significant draw. Investing in a manufactured home allows residents to build equity and customize their living space in ways that are impossible in a traditional rental. While some residents have noted the importance of staying informed about lease terms and management policies—as with any leased-land community—the overall convenience and accessibility of Arundel Meadows make it a cornerstone of affordable housing in Anne Arundel County. For those seeking a practical, pet-friendly, and well-connected place to call home, this community offers a viable path to comfortable Maryland living.

In summary, Arundel Meadows Manufactured Home Community provides an essential service to the local Maryland population by maintaining a pocket of affordability in a premium location. Whether you are moving for a job at the airport, seeking a family-friendly environment near top-tier shopping, or looking for a modern manufactured home with a functional layout, this Hanover community stands as a notable option. Its combination of professional onsite services, accessible infrastructure, and a strategic location makes it a place worth investigating for anyone considering the next step in their housing journey in the Old Line State.

The property manager likes to make you feel good about moving in, until you move in and realize she’s not the sweet lady she’s pretending to be. My cousin and I have been living here for a little over a year now and we love the community and its location. Unfortunately within the first month of living here, we asked her for help with our tub drain and she decided to retaliate with taking my cousin’s handicap parking privilege away, and yes she has a legal handicap parking permit. The house that we rent is nice and spacious, but the windows are drafty the heater will run all winter, so buy some space heaters if you move into 1A. The other thing that has me a little concerned is that the company that we’re renting from is tied up in litigation to its eye balls because they’re more concerned with the vanity of their properties than the structural integrity of their homes they rent. Who bumps up the price of rent a $141.00 a month after one year of renting? You’re all crooks

The worst place to live, they take your water without telling you and insult you for asking when it will return. They raise the rent for the land every 6 months without telling you and now they will charge $1200 to the new owners. The manager (Diane) doesn't help you at all and to make matters worse the maintenance gentleman only spends his time handing out violations for no reason and when you try talk to him about it he is rude and disrespectful.

I brought a really nice home and had it placed in this park that was about 17 years ago...after 5 years of living there and being wrote up because management didn't like us trapping any of the 25 / 40 cats that lived wild in the park. We had to leave state for my husband's job. I had three different realtors and they all told me the same thing.... everytime they found a buyer Chesapeake Mobile Homes would convince them to buy a different home because they wanted to sell it .After over a year of paying ground rent the mortgage for the Mobile on top of my other bills I asked them to sell it ... a couple months later I found a buyer but I still had to give them for selling it .In the five years of living there our ground rent doubled.....They will tell you how religious they are when one of the kids in the park told me there was a headstone in their yard I had to ck it out . In one section they actually put Homes on top of Graves..... When I pointed this out to Chesapeake they told me to leave it alone.I can go on and on but I think I'll stop here.

Not affordable housing when your land rent is so high. Plus they turn off you water all day with no notice at all. 7:30pm and we have not had water since 11a, this happens at least every 2 or 3 months. They can put all kinds of letters on your door but nothing about having an emergency and the water will be off all day. Stay where you are save your money and buy a real house.

Was good when we moved in 3 years ago, but it has gone down hill every year. Have neighbors that let other people move in. They were stickler of background check but I know they would not pass one.
