Blue Mountain View Estates Introduce
Blue Mountain View Estates is a well-established manufactured home community nestled at the base of the stunning Blue Mountains in Kunkletown, Pennsylvania. For decades, this community has provided a sanctuary for those seeking a lifestyle deeply connected to the natural beauty of the Poconos. Characterized by its expansive wooded lots and quiet streets, the park offers a unique blend of wilderness living and residential stability. Residents are often treated to the sight of local wildlife, including deer, turkeys, and bears, creating an atmosphere that feels like a private retreat within the Pennsylvania wilds. The community has long been regarded as one of the most scenic in the region, offering a peaceful backdrop for retirees and families alike.
The community prides itself on a culture of neighborliness and respect, with many residents calling the estates home for over 17 years. Under the professional stewardship of current owners Jonathan and his family, Blue Mountain View Estates has maintained its reputation for being clean, well-maintained, and quiet. As both a mobile home park and a licensed mobile home dealer, the community offers a streamlined path to homeownership, helping residents find or design homes that take full advantage of the sloping mountain terrain and panoramic views. For Pennsylvania residents looking to trade the noise of the city for the rustling of leaves and the sight of lit ski slopes from their kitchen table, Blue Mountain View Estates remains a premier choice.
Located at 1 Blue Mountain View in Kunkletown, PA 18058, the community is strategically positioned to offer both seclusion and accessibility. It sits in a rural part of Carbon County, yet it is only minutes away from the Blue Mountain Resort, a major regional destination for skiing, mountain biking, and outdoor adventure. This location provides residents with the distinct advantage of living in a "wilderness" setting while remaining within a reasonable driving distance of major Pennsylvania hubs. The park is approximately 2 hours from both Philadelphia and New York City, making it an accessible option for those who want a seasonal mountain home or a permanent residence with easy city access.
The community is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring extra-wide paved streets that are regularly maintained and plowed during the winter months. A wheelchair-accessible parking lot is available at the main entrance and community areas to ensure all visitors and residents can navigate the property comfortably. For local essentials, the nearby towns of Palmerton and Lehighton provide grocery stores, medical facilities, and schools, including the Palmerton Area School District. The park’s layout utilizes the natural topography to ensure that homes are not crowded, providing each lot with ample privacy and a sense of openness that is rare in more densely packed urban developments.

Blue Mountain View Estates is worth choosing for those who refuse to compromise on scenery and peace. In the Pennsylvania housing market, it is rare to find a community that offers such direct access to "wild wilderness"—complete with bears, deer, and turkeys—while still providing the comforts of a professionally managed residential park. The affordability of the lot rent, which includes essential utilities like water, sewer, and trash, makes it a financially savvy choice for retirees looking to maximize their savings or families seeking a manageable cost of living in the Poconos.
Furthermore, the reputation of the management and the longevity of the residents speak volumes about the quality of life here. When residents move away after 17 years and still write letters of blessing to the neighbors and owners they left behind, it indicates a community with a true heart. The combination of "turn-key" home options from the on-site dealer and the impeccably maintained grounds ensures that moving here is a stress-free experience. Whether you are an outdoor adventurer who wants to be minutes from the ski slopes or someone who simply wants to sit on a deck and watch the sunset over the mountains, Blue Mountain View Estates offers a lifestyle that is truly second to none.

How much is the rent for a 3 bed room?
My wife and I Debbie lived there for over 17 years. It is lovely there. Wilderness, woods, mountains, creeks, streams, hunting, fishing, hiking. The park was always maintained very well, from when Beers owned it, and also the current owners, Jonathan and his wife. Both are very nice people. It is quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors are good people. We retired April 19th 2019 and by that evening we were in our new home in Mexico. Where we live is very nice. Lake Chapala, and the Sierra Madre mountains. But our hearts are in the wild wilderness of the Pa., Woods and mountains with the Bear, turkeys, deer, raccoons, possums, skunks, etc... We hope to drive back and visit for 3 weeks soon. Our Lord Jesus blessed my wife and I to live there for over 17 years, and is blessing us here in Mexico too. Blessings to Jon and his wife and children the owners. Also Jim and Loretta Zellers, Bob, Roger and Kelly Ann, Barry and Melisa, Cody and Zack, Chris and Jen, Joe and Elise, Mike Parnahay, Hank, Alex on the next block, Mitch and his wife, Harold, and anybody I forgot. Jonathan, if you read this, could you please tell everyone we love them and are praying for them and miss them. Thanks much, your friends, Barry and Debbie Blundi, formerly 19 Matthew lane. Blessings!
The park owner should be taking better care of the place if they are upping the lot rent. How about making some improvements and actually fixing things instead of just collecting the money.
Very well maintained park. My mom lives here. The roads are well maintained in winter and they take pride in their park
The air is fresh and the sky is blue
