For local residents from the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, and surrounding counties, it serves as a reliable home base for weekend getaways or seasonal stays. The grounds are meticulously cared for, reflecting a clear sense of pride and community that has made it a staple of Northampton County’s outdoor hospitality for decades.

The atmosphere at Evergreen Lake is defined by a serene, quiet environment that allows visitors to truly breathe and relax. Unlike many high-traffic commercial parks, Evergreen Lake focuses on preserving a tranquil setting where the rustle of the pines and the gentle ripples of the water set the pace. The main office line is (610) 837-6401, and the team is available to answer questions regarding rates for daily, weekly, or seasonal stays. For those traveling with larger rigs or specialized equipment, it is always recommended to call ahead to ensure the best possible site placement. The campground typically operates from mid-April through mid-October, capturing the best of the Pennsylvania spring, summer, and autumn foliage seasons.

What is worth choosing at Evergreen Lake is the rare combination of professional maintenance and a truly peaceful atmosphere. While many campgrounds can feel overcrowded or chaotic, Evergreen manages to keep its 250 wooded sites feeling private and serene. It is an exceptional choice for big-rig owners who often struggle to find "secluded" spots that still offer the necessary hookups and space for a 40+ foot vehicle. The inclusion of Wi-Fi, electric, and water in the stay cost provides a stress-free experience, allowing you to settle in and start enjoying your vacation the moment you unhook.

Furthermore, the fishing and wildlife opportunities are second to none in the Lehigh Valley. The spring-fed waters and meticulous grounds-keeping make it a haven for local flora and fauna, providing spectacular views of sunrises and sunsets from your campsite fire ring. Choosing Evergreen Lake means choosing a place where your pets are welcome, your children have safe places to play, and you can enjoy the "kind of quiet that actually lets you breathe." Whether you are here for the trout fishing, the miniature golf, or simply a morning coffee by the lake, Evergreen Lake offers a high-quality Pennsylvania camping experience that honors its 60-year legacy of excellence.

We had such a wonderful stay at Evergreen Lake and Fishing with our 43’ fifth wheel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and well cared for.Having WiFi, electric, and water included in the cost of our stay was a huge plus and made settling in completely stress-free. The grounds are meticulously maintained—you can tell there’s a lot of pride and care put into this place. It’s incredibly peaceful here, the kind of quiet that actually lets you breathe and relax. On top of that, we met so many friendly, kind people during our stay, which really added to the experience and made it feel like a little community rather than just a campground. If you’re looking for a serene, well-kept spot that feels welcoming and comfortable—especially with a larger rig—this place is a gem. We’re so glad we stayed here and would absolutely recommend it.

I love Evergreen Lake! Very clean well kept! Friendly staff to help and answer questions. With great fishing and miniature golf you can't go wrong. The wildlife is amazing! You may even see an eagle or two. The sunsets and sunrises are amazing drinking your coffee as you see the sunrise is so relaxing my favorite in the morning. The office also has essentials that you may have forgotten, like marshmallow for your campfire treats. There is a playground, pickleball court and gameroom with old favorites. There are washers and dryers so you can enjoy your time away and not worry about the unpacking dirty laundry. There's so much I could say on why you should visit Evergreen Lake you'll love it also.

Staff was friendly and it was a nice place to stay for two nights. Primitive spots and regular spots available. W/E/C available and WiFi. Picnic table and fire ring in each spot. Cool arcade we didn’t get to use because it never opened. laundry room and mini golf. A set of swings and a pirate themed playground. Bath house with 4 toilets and 2 showers. It was nice and quiet and peaceful at night.

Very creepy place to stay. Sites are not visible from the road at all. Paid for a tent site and it was filled with dead branches and leaves with 3 heavy picnic tables I had to move on my own. Lots of old campers with mold and moss growing on them and no one in them. Bathrooms were filthy. Saw the office woman walk in to “clean” them she had a cigarette in one hand and a mop in the other. No cleaners, rags, bucket, nothing else. Can’t help thinking she swished the mop in the sinks, around the floor and then left.

This place is great for families. There's a lot of space, the Wi-Fi is good, and there's a lake for fishing. The scenery is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and polite. It's a great place to spend a weekend camping, whether you're in an RV, a tent, or a seasonal camper. There are also plenty of activities to do, like putt-putt golf and weekly planned events.
