Spanning 175 acres of beautiful woodlands, the park is designed to offer a peaceful retreat without the overwhelming isolation of deep-forest camping. It strikes a unique chord by being small enough to feel quiet and intimate, yet large enough to provide a variety of recreational activities that keep guests of all ages engaged throughout their stay.

For residents in the New Jersey region, Buena Vista Campground is often recognized for its friendly, community-driven atmosphere. What is worth choosing at Buena Vista Campground is the genuine value and personal touch provided by the management. In an era of large, corporate-owned parks, Buena Vista maintains its charm as an affordable and friendly alternative. It is worth choosing for families who want a safe, active environment for their children without the "resort prices" of upscale venues. The inclusion of a dog park and the flexibility regarding pets makes it a top choice for animal lovers who refuse to leave their four-legged friends behind. Furthermore, the park’s accessibility features—including wheelchair-accessible restrooms and parking—ensure that the joy of camping is available to every member of the community.

For the New Jersey resident, choosing Buena Vista means supporting a local business that reinvests in its facilities. The visible hard work of the management team, particularly in preparing for upcoming seasons like 2025 and 2026, ensures that the infrastructure remains reliable. The mix of open spaces for sun and wooded areas for shade allows campers to choose the environment that best suits their preference. Whether you are there for the thrill of the double waterslide or the quiet of a morning fishing session on the lake, the versatility of the park is its greatest asset. It is a place that doesn't try to be anything other than what it is: a clean, friendly, and vibrant community where the New Jersey spirit of hospitality is always on display.

Ultimately, a stay at Buena Vista Campground is an investment in quality time. It offers the perfect middle ground for those who want to escape the hustle of the city but still appreciate having a hot shower and a nearby grocery store. With its close proximity to both the Jersey Shore and the Pine Barrens, it offers a central location that is hard to beat. For anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors in a way that is accessible, affordable, and fun, this Buena Vista destination stands out as one of the best campgrounds in the region.

Very friendly and well kept campground. It doesn't have the "in the woods" feeling of staying in a state forest, or the amenities of an upscale campground, but it isn't trying to be either of those things. They are a nice, small, quiet campground with a nice pool, lake, and a few events each weekend. Not too expensive either. We love it for a nice time away with the kids and absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants to camp.

I can't say enough good things. One thing that stands out though, is when I checked in, I told them it was our first trip with our new camper, and asked if they could give me a site that wouldn't be too bad to back into due to my inexperience. Not only did they give me an easy site to get into, one of the maintenance guys went with me, and helped guide me in and made sure I was OK setting up. I will definitely be returning.
