Chelmsford Commons Manufactured Home Community Introduce

For residents in the Massachusetts region searching for a balance between suburban comfort and affordability, Chelmsford Commons Manufactured Home Community stands as a significant residential option in the heart of Middlesex County. Located in the historic and well-connected town of Chelmsford, this all-ages community provides a pathway to homeownership that is often out of reach in the traditional New England real estate market. Managed by RHP Properties, one of the nation’s largest private owners of manufactured home communities, Chelmsford Commons offers a professional living environment designed to meet the needs of diverse households, from young families to retirees looking to downsize. With its blend of established homes and modern brand-name models, the community caters to those who value a neighborhood feel without the high price tag of conventional single-family dwellings.

The community is characterized by its commitment to providing a "Residents First" experience, where the daily logistical burdens of property management are handled by on-site staff. This allows residents to enjoy a lifestyle focused on community engagement and local exploration. Chelmsford Commons is not just a place to park a home; it is an active neighborhood where long-term residency is common, with some neighbors having called the park home for decades. While the community has faced the challenges typical of large-scale housing developments, it remains a vital source of affordable housing in the region, offering a variety of three-bedroom, two-bathroom floor plans that provide the space and privacy of a traditional house at a fraction of the cost. For local Massachusetts users, the appeal lies in the ability to build equity in a home while residing in a town known for its excellent public services and high quality of life.

Location and Accessibility are paramount features for anyone living in or commuting through the Merrimack Valley. Situated at 270 Littleton Road, Chelmsford Commons is strategically located just 31 miles from the cultural and economic hub of Boston. Its position offers unparalleled access to major transportation corridors, including I-495 and Route 3, making it an ideal home base for professionals working in the tech corridors of Burlington or the academic centers of Lowell. For families, the location is even more desirable as it sits within the top-rated Chelmsford school district, providing children with access to high-ranking elementary, middle, and high schools. Within the community itself, accessibility is a priority, featuring wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking lots at the main administrative areas. Residents also benefit from local bus routes that make navigating the city and surrounding shopping districts easy and convenient.

The services offered at Chelmsford Commons are designed to streamline the living experience, providing a "one-stop shop" for manufactured home living. As both a mobile home dealer and a rental agency, the community provides options for those looking to buy their dream home or find a reliable rental. The monthly site fees are structured to be inclusive of several essential municipal services, which simplifies budgeting for many residents. Professional management remains on-site to address maintenance concerns and community standards, ensuring that the common areas and infrastructure remain functional for all residents.

Been living here for only 8 months. Worst decision I ever made. Trash is always an issue. Roads in disrepair. Fees increase and amenities decrease. Management is always non-responsive. Do not consider this park!!!!

Poorly managed. We have not had our streets swept since new mgmt. This hadn't happened for years now. It used to be done every spring. They don't provide enough waste dumpsters. Once or twice a year for a few days is not enough. You can't expect owners to hire their own dumpsters for cleanup. And it should go back to an over 55 park. As it once was. Instead of demanding that owners of homes do any number of upkeep items, how about you keep up sinking driveways and roads?Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures. Drive around at night and during the day to see activity.
