Christmas Pines Campground, LLC Introduce

Christmas Pines Campground, LLC is a premier outdoor destination located in the scenic landscapes of Auburn, Pennsylvania. Serving as a tranquil escape for families and nature enthusiasts, this campground is nestled among towering pine trees that provide both shade and a refreshing natural aroma. For decades, it has established a reputation as one of the quietest and most respectful camping environments in the region, largely due to its commitment to maintaining a family-first atmosphere. Unlike many other recreational spots, this facility maintains a strict policy against alcoholic beverages, ensuring that the environment remains peaceful, safe, and free from the disturbances often associated with rowdy gatherings. This makes it a top choice for parents with young children and anyone seeking a genuine retreat into nature.

The campground caters to a variety of camping styles, from those who arrive with large, modern RVs to traditionalists who prefer pitching a tent under the stars. The owners are known for their hands-on management style, often personally ensuring that every guest is comfortable and that the grounds are kept in pristine condition. Whether you are visiting for a single weekend or staying for an entire season, the sense of community at Christmas Pines is palpable. It is common to see local wildlife, such as deer and wild turkeys, wandering through the wooded outskirts of the campsites, adding to the immersive outdoor experience that Pennsylvania's Schuylkill County is famous for.

Conveniently located at 450 Red Church Rd, Auburn, PA 17922, the campground is easily accessible for residents across Eastern and Central Pennsylvania. It is positioned just a short drive from major thoroughfares, yet it is tucked away far enough to eliminate traffic noise. One of the most significant advantages of its location is its proximity to the world-famous Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, which is only about eight miles away. This makes Christmas Pines a perfect home base for birdwatchers and hikers who wish to witness the majestic raptor migrations or explore the Appalachian trails. Additionally, its central location in southeastern Pennsylvania puts it within a reasonable driving distance of several major amusement parks and local historical sites, offering plenty of options for day trips.

Accessibility is a priority at the resort. The facility features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a parking lot designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs. Furthermore, the public restrooms and shower houses are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and include accessible stalls. The layout of the campground is thoughtfully designed with wide paths and clear signage, making navigation simple for first-time visitors and long-term residents alike.

This is by far the best campground I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. The owners are very hands on, any issues I had was handled almost immediately with good results. It's a great place to stay at if you have young children...has a crystal clear swimming pool, great playground area, game room. Another great thing they are pet friendly with a large shaded doggy fenced in area. They don't mind if you decorate with flowers. Have seen deer and turkeys right behind our camper. They don't allow alcohol so therefore you don't have to deal with loud obnoxious people. They have a lot of permanent sites where the guests seem to be very polite. Been living here so far for 6 weeks [due to husbands work) with no complaints whatsoever. Looking forward to the next 5 months. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND TO ALL !!!!

This place was the quietest, most peaceful campground we’ve ever been to! Our normal go to campground was booked for the weekend, so we stumbled upon this gem and we just fell in love.We rented a rustic cabin at an amazing rate (normal price, no specials or anything). The rustic cabin was graciously appointed with heat, A/C (for a nominal daily fee), small refrigerator, small tv with a few channels....We’ve paid more to tent camp at other spots.Cabins are close to immaculate bathrooms/shower house....Close to an extremely well stocked camp store, snack bar/ice cream stand within the store had many selections.....and the pop corn with extra butter, oh good lord! The staff was super friendly and very helpful....due to a bad back and physical limitations the staff was more than willing to help us with our firewood....it was just an awesome, awesome experience. We even tried to book the same cabin the next weekend, but unfortunately they were booked.Either way, we’ll be back in the summertime next year and we absolutely cannot wait!

I found this campground 4 years ago and camped here because it was close to the county fair. I have come back every year since. The Staff is great- helpful, accommodating, and always pleasant. My family and I have stayed using the 4 weekend only package so we are not permanent campers. None the less everyone has always been friendly and respectful of one another. This is a decent family oriented, well run, peaceful place to relax and enjoy life. (Even if it is only 4 to 6 weekends a summer) I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the special greeting campers get from Lilly the owner’s beautiful white Golden doodle. ...Truly this place is a Gem in the Mountains...This past year (2018) we got a permanent site. Loved every minute we could spend at the campground. It is late fall now and getting cold. Can't wait for the spring to return.Everyone has been so friendly, just a wonderful relaxed atmosphere.
