Clearview Campground Introduce

Clearview Campground offers a quintessential Pennsylvania outdoor experience, characterized by its rolling hills and expansive mountain vistas. Located in DuBois, this campground serves as a peaceful retreat for both seasonal residents and overnight travelers. Known for its elevated position that provides breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and farmlands, it is a favored destination for those who want to experience the natural beauty of North Central Pennsylvania. The park balances a quiet, professional atmosphere with the friendly warmth of a family-run business, ensuring every guest feels welcome from the moment they pull onto the grounds.

The layout of the campground is designed to take full advantage of the local topography. Many of the sites are situated on a hillside, allowing for unobstructed views that are particularly stunning during the autumn months when the foliage transforms into a vibrant tapestry of colors. While the terrain can be sloped, the management has worked to provide functional spaces that accommodate modern camping needs. Whether you are a local Pennsylvanian looking for a seasonal home away from home or a traveler passing through the region, Clearview Campground provides a serene environment far removed from the noise of the city, yet close enough to local amenities to be convenient.

Location and Accessibility are key components of the Clearview Campground experience. The park is situated at 69 Giles Rd #6478, DuBois, PA 15801, making it highly accessible from Interstate 80. Specifically, from I-80 Exit 101, travelers can reach the site within minutes, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a quick escape or a reliable stopover. The entrance and on-site parking lots are designed to be wheelchair accessible, ensuring that the beauty of the mountain views is available to all visitors. Its proximity to the Treasure Lake area and local golf courses like the DuBois Country Club means that recreation is never far away, while the immediate surroundings remain exclusively focused on the peaceful camping lifestyle.

What is worth choosing at Clearview Campground is the unparalleled sense of tranquility combined with the hospitality of the management. In a region where many campgrounds can feel crowded, Clearview remains a "hidden gem" that prioritizes a neat and quiet environment. It is worth choosing for the views alone; few places in the area offer the same hilltop perspective that allows you to watch the sunset over the Pennsylvania mountains from the comfort of your RV. Additionally, the owner's reputation for being extremely friendly and helpful adds a layer of security and comfort to the experience, making it a reliable choice for families who value a well-managed property.

For travelers with self-contained RVs, the $50 full hook-up sites represent a solid value for the level of privacy and the quality of the view provided. The campground's focus on maintaining a clean and orderly site—from the mowed grass to the well-kept restrooms—ensures a high-quality stay. Whether you are here to explore the nearby state forests or simply want a quiet place to sit by the fire and look at the stars, Clearview Campground provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable Pennsylvania getaway. Choosing this location means choosing the beauty of the heights and the peace of the valley, all in one well-located spot in DuBois.

Mostly seasonal. Sites on hill. We had difficulty leveling with autolevelers. Wind is brutal. Great views though. No picnic tables. Manager very nice.

A nice, quiet area a little past Dubois. What you would expect from a small campground. Everyone around is extremely friendly and the views in the evening aren't too bad, either 😊
