Experience the perfect blend of outdoor serenity and modern convenience at Crystal Springs Wilderness Lodges & RV Resort. Located in the heart of Central New Jersey’s farm country in Cream Ridge, this resort offers a premier destination for travelers looking to explore the Garden State’s most iconic attractions. Whether you are a local family seeking a weekend escape or a long-term traveler needing a base for exploration, Crystal Springs provides a well-organized environment that caters specifically to RV enthusiasts and those looking for the comforts of lodge-style living. The resort identifies as women-owned, bringing a professional and detail-oriented approach to hospitality in the outdoor recreation industry.

Crystal Springs is designed to serve as a high-end alternative to traditional primitive camping. The property spans approximately 30 acres of beautiful, wooded scenery, providing a tranquil atmosphere that feels secluded despite its proximity to major metropolitan hubs. For residents of Northern and Southern New Jersey alike, it serves as a central meeting ground where the charm of the wilderness meets the thrill of nearby amusement parks. The resort’s reputation is built on its clean facilities, structured environment, and its strategic position near some of the state’s best entertainment and natural landmarks.

The location of Crystal Springs Wilderness Lodges & RV Resort is one of its most compelling features. Situated at 724 Monmouth Rd, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514, the resort is exceptionally easy to access from major New Jersey arteries, including I-195 and the New Jersey Turnpike. Its central location puts it within an hour's drive of New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City, making it a prime spot for "staycations" or cross-state travels. For families planning a visit to Six Flags Great Adventure, Hurricane Harbor, or the Wild Safari, the resort is just two miles away—allowing guests to beat the crowds and return to a peaceful campsite in minutes.

Accessibility is a priority at the resort. The facility features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms, ensuring that all guests can enjoy the grounds comfortably. On-site parking is clearly marked, and the internal roads are designed to accommodate large rigs, including motorhomes and fifth wheels. The resort operates year-round, offering daily, weekly, and monthly rates, which is a significant advantage for those needing a reliable place to stay during home renovations or seasonal job assignments in the Central Jersey area.

  • Spacious RV camping sites featuring full hookups with 30/50 amp electrical service.
  • Fully furnished lodge-style cabins that can accommodate up to 8 people, providing a "glamping" experience for those without their own rig.
  • Access to a beautiful Olympic-sized swimming pool and a dedicated "tot pool" for younger children (seasonal).
  • Comprehensive payment options including credit cards and debit cards for easy booking and transactions.
  • Professional on-site management and dedicated staff who oversee the grounds and assist with guest inquiries.
  • Free WiFi access throughout the resort, allowing guests to stay connected for work or entertainment.
  • On-site firewood sales by the stack, ensuring campers have access to safe, locally sourced wood for their fire pits.
  • Dedicated customer service for long-term stays, including coordination for extended monthly reservations.

Beyond the standard camping necessities, Crystal Springs highlights several features that make it a standout choice for families and pet owners. The resort is dog-friendly, welcoming well-behaved pets on leashes, and even provides "poo bag" stations throughout the grounds to help owners maintain cleanliness. For children, the resort offers a safe and well-equipped playground, giving kids a place to burn off energy in a secure environment. The overall atmosphere is governed by clear resort rules, such as established quiet hours and safety protocols, ensuring that every guest can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep under the New Jersey stars.

  • Proximity to world-class golf courses, including Cream Ridge Golf Club and Gambler Ridge Golf Club.
  • Close proximity to Prospertown Lake and Colliers Mills State Game Lands for those who enjoy hiking and fishing nearby.
  • Immaculate pool complex featuring a gated area for safety and a dedicated pool attendant during hours of operation.
  • Pet-friendly policies with no extra fee for bringing your dogs along for the adventure.
  • Climate-controlled cabins equipped with both heat and air conditioning for year-round comfort.
  • Strategic location only 30 minutes away from the famous Jersey Shore beaches and boardwalks.
  • A community-focused environment with friendly neighbors and shared spaces like a pond area with benches and swings.
  • Security protocols including a requirement for RV insurance and registration, protecting the interests of all residents.

For more information or to request a reservation, you can reach the front office during their regular business hours. Due to the high demand for sites near the amusement parks, it is recommended to book in advance, especially for summer weekends.

I thought it was strange that this place was 3/4 empty in mid August when I checked in for three months stay. I should've known. They took a $2000 security deposit which was supposed to be refunded a week after my stay. I stayed for three months while my home was being renovated. They have given me 10 to 12 excuses as to why they haven't refunded my security deposit five weeks after I left in mid-October. The TV and Internet reception had repeatedly gone out. The water to the cabin even was out for a few days. I just went back there yesterday to find out where my deposit is and the receptionist said she had a lot of voicemails to answer. That's why she hasn't gotten to it.Two weeks prior. She told me the check was in the mail! Liars liars liars.\In response to the owner, the water was out a minimum of two days not one day. You told me my check was in the mail, but you couldn't tell me when you cut the check? How does a business write a check out to an individual and not have a date on it in their checkbook? You've avoided giving me by just do security posit back I left the cabin cleaner than it was when I moved in, I was told the cabin was professionally clean before I moved in, which I find hard to believe because nobody checked, it was dirt all over the place which. I had to show up in person twice to get my money back and it's funny how you never mentioned anything about the mail the check anymore that you supposedly mailed but don't know what date you wrote the check out for.Update, the check that was mailed out to me a month and a half ago still never showed up. Makes me wonder?!

We went for the first time to Crystal Springs Wilderness Lodges specifically to enjoy being close to Great Adventure and have a little "camping" like adventure. Three adults and a 12 year old in one of cabins....which of course isn't exactly camping, but an adventure nevertheless. They have a really nice pool, clean and maintained. The folks in charge, specifically Artie and Sara, were very nice and patient with all my questions when we arrived. The cabins are compact but clean and do the job. We had wood fires in the fire pit and folks at the neighboring cabins were quite friendly. I see comments about the water, which did have a slight off taste to it, however it's safe.... its just that as well water. And I have to say, without my even bringing it up, Artie was very upfront about the water. I really appreciated his openness and forthcoming about that. And I know he takes a lot of heat from people, but running a place like that having rules are important. I realized right away that Artie is just trying to make sure everybody has an enjoyable time and the best way to do that is making sure the rules are followed so there's no headaches for the guests or for the staff. I have to say every time I emailed any questions or had any questions Sarah got back to me in a very timely manner which I appreciate very much. We had a good experience while we were there and look forward to going back sometime. This is no four star hotel, but the price is fair and it did the job well for us. I just want to thank everybody involved including the folks sitting at the pool all day making sure guests are safe. There's no lifeguards mind you, so no kids, particularly young kids, should be in the pool without their adults, but it is very nice.

The lodges are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with essentials, while RV sites are roomy and easy to access. Staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring guests feel welcome. It’s a quiet location, ideal for fishing, hiking, or just unwinding. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and there’s plenty of space to explore. A great choice for anyone seeking a rustic, nature-filled escape with modern comforts. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

My husband and I stayed here approx. 9 months and loved it. We have stayed and visited several RV sites though out the country and I found this place to be my absolute favorite place. From its natural beauty of the land, exceptional staff, clear expectations/communication and comfort, I would stay here time and time again! Will hold the memories of this place as a treasure forever. Thank you Artie and Staff!
