We moved our group of six campers to Deer Run this year for Halloween Weekend, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience! We loved having our campsites directly across from each other—it made everything more convenient and fun. Our site was spacious and fit our camper perfectly. We really appreciated the quiet, less congested atmosphere of the campground. One of the best parts was that golf carts and cars weren’t allowed to drive around during trick-or-treating—it made the event feel much safer and more enjoyable for everyone. The amenities were a big hit with our group! We spent time on the pickleball court, shuffleboard, and basketball court. While we didn’t participate in Spooky Bingo, it sounded like a blast and was clearly a fun addition for families. We’re already looking forward to coming back next Halloween—and hopefully making a trip during the summer too!

Love Deer Run! Have been there many times and will continue going back. Loved our site #78. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of fun stuff for the kids to do at no added cost. Halloween weekend was a ton of fun as well. Campground is clean, well maintained, safe and doesn’t have 4 pages of rules like some campgrounds do.

My family had a glamp site. First time ever staying in one and it was beyond what we even expected. It was clean and ready to go and very spacious. Plenty of shade and in a beautiful spot close to rest rooms and showers that were kept clean. We enjoyed the fall metal fest and all of our camping neighbors were friendly. My 2 year old granddaughter had a blast dancing around and playing at the playground and looking at the ducks by the beautiful pond. The camp store staff were friendly and helpful at answering any questions we had about our stay. We truly enjoyed it and will definitely make it back again in the spring or summer for a larger family trip to enjoy the pool and do some hiking next year.

Reservations were made online. Check-in and check-out were easy. We never spoke to any office personnel. Our site was in the back of the campground by some cabins and a bathhouse. It was a nice, quiet site that was away from a section full of bigger rigs. The bathhouse was clean and the shower water was hot. The campground amenities looked older but it all seemed well kept. We only stayed one night, so we didn't get the full experience, but I would recommend to others based on our stay.

We have friends that stay at the campground every year and this was our first year joining them. We absolutely loved our wooded lot! Everything was super clean. We enjoyed a chili and apple pie cookout during our stay as well as the band that played during that time. All the staff we interacted with were wonderful and responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend for your next camping trip!
