Fairhaven Mobile Home Park Introduce

Finding a place to call home in the Granite State often involves balancing budget, location, and community atmosphere. For many residents in Southern New Hampshire, Fairhaven Mobile Home Park represents a local option for manufactured housing. Situated in the charming town of Milford, this community offers a specific type of residential living that is common throughout the Hillsborough County area. As local housing markets continue to fluctuate, understanding the nuances of established parks like Fairhaven is essential for those seeking alternative real estate options within the region.

Fairhaven Mobile Home Park operates as a dedicated residential community focused on providing space for mobile and manufactured homes. In New Hampshire, these parks serve as a vital component of the local housing landscape, offering a different lifestyle compared to traditional single-family homes or apartment complexes. The park is managed as a real estate entity, catering to long-term residents who value the specific geographic benefits of the Milford area. Like many local parks in our state, it aims to provide a quiet environment for its inhabitants, tucked away from the more commercialized stretches of the surrounding highways.

The location of Fairhaven Mobile Home Park is one of its most defining characteristics. Situated at 111 Old Brookline Rd, Milford, NH 03055, the park is ideally positioned for those who work or socialized in the Souhegan Valley. Milford is known as the "Granite Town," and living on Old Brookline Road places residents near the heart of this historic community. The accessibility of the site is a major draw for local users. It is located just a short drive from the Milford Oval, providing easy access to local shops, community events, and dining. Furthermore, its proximity to Route 13 and Route 101 makes it a viable location for commuters traveling to Nashua, Manchester, or even across the border into Massachusetts.

The layout of the park is designed to facilitate a neighborhood feel while maintaining the privacy of individual lots. Accessibility within the park is managed through a network of private roads that connect the residential units to the main thoroughfare of Old Brookline Road. This allows for a buffer between the residential spaces and the higher-traffic areas of the town. For New Hampshire residents who prioritize being close to nature while remaining near urban amenities, the Milford location offers a balance of wooded surroundings and suburban convenience.

Fairhaven Mobile Home Park provides a variety of services typical of a managed residential land-lease community. While residents often own their individual trailers or mobile units, the park administration is responsible for the overarching management of the grounds and the utility infrastructure. The services offered are intended to support a functional living environment for the local population. These include:

  • Lot leasing services for mobile and manufactured housing units.
  • General maintenance of common areas and park roadways to ensure safe passage.
  • Provision of basic utility connections, including water sourced from onsite well systems.
  • Property management and real estate administrative services.
  • Waste management coordination for residential refuse.
  • Snow removal for the main park thoroughfares during the New Hampshire winter months.
  • Onsite maintenance staff designated for community-wide infrastructure repairs.

Beyond the basic services, the park has several features and highlights that characterize the daily experience of its residents. When looking at the community from a local perspective, several key aspects stand out regarding the atmosphere and the lifestyle offered within its boundaries. These features reflect the reality of living in a long-standing New Hampshire mobile home community:

  • A predominantly quiet environment that appeals to residents looking for peace and tranquility.
  • Close-knit neighborhood dynamics where many residents have lived for several years.
  • Convenient proximity to the local amenities of Milford, including grocery stores and hardware shops.
  • A wooded setting that offers a classic New Hampshire aesthetic throughout the changing seasons.
  • Affordable entry points into the local real estate market compared to traditional housing.
  • Close proximity to the Brookline town line, expanding options for recreation and services.
  • A layout that accommodates traditional mobile home designs with dedicated parking spaces.

When considering whether Fairhaven Mobile Home Park is the right choice for your housing needs, it is important to weigh the various factors reported by members of the community. In any local real estate decision, hearing from those who have lived there provides a clear picture of the management style and the living conditions. While the park is noted by some for its quiet atmosphere and friendly neighbors, other residents have raised significant concerns that should be carefully considered by any prospective tenant.

What is worth choosing often depends on a resident's priorities and their ability to handle home maintenance independently. Some locals have highlighted the quiet nature of the park as a major benefit. However, it is important to be aware of public feedback regarding the management's approach to repairs and infrastructure. Reports from long-term residents suggest that maintenance responsibilities for individual units and certain aspects of the park's infrastructure, such as roofing and pest control, may fall heavily on the tenant. There have also been mentions of concerns regarding water quality from the well systems, which is a critical factor for any New Hampshire resident to investigate.

Furthermore, prospective residents should be diligent in inspecting any potential home for issues like mold or structural integrity, as local feedback indicates that management may not always provide comprehensive solutions for internal repairs. The park has been compared by some to lower-budget motel accommodations, suggesting that those seeking a high-end luxury community may want to look elsewhere, while those who are handy and looking for a very specific, low-cost location might find it a workable option. Ultimately, Fairhaven Mobile Home Park represents a segment of the Milford housing market that requires a proactive and self-sufficient approach to home ownership and maintenance.

In conclusion, Fairhaven Mobile Home Park offers a localized housing solution in a prime Milford location. Its accessibility to major New Hampshire routes and its quiet neighborhood feel are significant advantages. However, like any real estate investment or rental agreement, local users should conduct thorough due diligence, speak with current neighbors, and clarify maintenance responsibilities with the landlords before making a commitment. Understanding both the peaceful surroundings and the potential management challenges is key to making an informed choice in the Southern New Hampshire region.

Worst place to rent from. Great neighbors sure. QUIET YES. just landlords who wont fix anything they should. Lived there for years and the second year we had leaky roof and then roof caved in. There solution we will cover over the roof again and put in a drop ceiling. We had holes in the trailer that we asked to have fixed and they told us that was up to us to fix. Mice came in through the holes and again they said it was our problem and when fuses blew in the night. Well we cant do anything about it but home depot has fuses they said. And what about reimbursement for all the work i do to the place. Um we dont do that. Nice landlords. Not!
