Gossler Camps Introduce
Gossler Camps represents a cherished tradition of lakeside living in the heart of Warner, New Hampshire. Since opening its doors in 1940, this family-owned and operated destination has provided generations of visitors with the opportunity to experience "vacations as they used to be." Situated on the scenic and tranquil shores of Tucker Pond, Gossler Camps offers a departure from the high-tech, fast-paced world, inviting families to slow down and embrace the natural beauty of the Granite State. The property is managed with a personal touch by the owners, who are frequently noted for their polite and welcoming hospitality, making every guest feel like a member of the community rather than just a visitor.
The essence of a stay at Gossler Camps is rooted in simplicity and the great outdoors. The camp is not a typical modern campground with hundreds of transient sites; instead, it offers a small collection of private, rustic cabins that allow families to immerse themselves in the quietude of the woods. Many residents return year after year, with some families having visited for multiple decades, passing down the tradition of a week at the pond from grandparents to grandchildren. Whether you are waking up to the call of loons or spending an afternoon catching turtles and frogs along the shore, Gossler Camps provides the foundational setting for old-fashioned summer fun.
Location and accessibility are among the top reasons why local New Hampshire residents choose Gossler Camps for their summer retreat. Located at 18 4th Road in Warner, NH, the camp is perfectly positioned within Merrimack County. While the address is officially in Warner, it sits on the shores of Tucker Pond, a 54-acre body of crystal-clear water that straddles the line with Salisbury. This location provides a secluded, "deep woods" feel while remaining remarkably accessible. For those coming from Concord, the drive is a convenient 25-minute journey, while visitors from the Manchester area can arrive in under 45 minutes.
The accessibility of the camp extends beyond the road. Once on-site, guests find themselves in a walkable, safe environment where children can roam freely between the cabins and the waterfront. The surrounding area of Warner is rich with local culture and amenities. A short ten-minute drive takes guests into the center of town, where they can find a Market Basket for groceries, local bookstores, and the Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum. For those who enjoy hiking, the proximity to Mount Kearsarge offers some of the best panoramic views in central New Hampshire, with trailheads just a short distance from the cabin doors.
Gossler Camps provides a comprehensive set of services designed to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The focus is on providing a self-sufficient environment where families have everything they need to enjoy the water and the woods. The service model emphasizes privacy, giving each family their own space to relax while providing the tools for outdoor adventure.

What is worth choosing about Gossler Camps is the rare combination of affordability, privacy, and authentic New Hampshire character. In a market where many campgrounds have become crowded with RVs and commercialized attractions, Gossler Camps remains a sanctuary of peace. It is worth choosing for families who want their children to experience nature without the distraction of arcades or busy roads. The inclusion of private docks and watercraft in the weekly rate provides incredible value, as it eliminates the need for expensive daily boat rentals found at larger resorts.
Furthermore, the cleanliness and upkeep of the cabins are a major draw. Guests frequently highlight the "perfect size" of the lodging for family units and the spotless condition in which they find their camps upon arrival. Choosing Gossler Camps means choosing a vacation where the primary schedule is determined by the sunrise over Tucker Pond and the evening campfire. For local New Hampshire residents seeking a quiet retreat that honors the state's heritage of lakeside camping, Gossler Camps is an exceptional choice that delivers a true sense of home in the woods.
