Holiday Pines Campground Introduce
Holiday Pines Campground is a peaceful, family-oriented destination located in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds. For local residents and travelers alike, this campground serves as a gateway to the natural beauty of North Central Pennsylvania. Situated among towering pines and rolling hills, it provides a rustic atmosphere that encourages guests to slow down and enjoy the simpler things in life. Whether you are looking for a place to park your motorhome for a night while passing through or seeking a seasonal spot to call your home away from home, Holiday Pines offers a welcoming environment characterized by its friendly management and traditional camping charm.
As a seasoned establishment in the Loganton area, Holiday Pines Campground prides itself on being an "old-fashioned" retreat. While it maintains a vintage feel, it remains a popular choice for those who value quiet nights and spacious sites. The property is designed to be a sanctuary where the hustle of the modern world feels miles away, yet it remains conveniently close to some of the state's most beloved attractions. From the sound of the wind through the trees to the flickering light of a community campfire, the experience here is authentically Pennsylvanian, making it a staple for outdoor enthusiasts in the region.
Location and accessibility are major highlights for visitors choosing this spot. Holiday Pines Campground is located at 16 Pinetree Ln, Loganton, PA 17747, USA. It is exceptionally easy to find, situated just three miles off Interstate 80 at Exit 185. This prime location places it roughly halfway between State College and Williamsport, and approximately two hours north of Harrisburg. For those traveling with larger vehicles, the park offers wide access roads and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. Accessibility is further supported by a wheelchair-accessible parking lot and restrooms, ensuring that the beauty of the PA Wilds is available to all guests regardless of their mobility needs.
Despite its proximity to the interstate, many campers find that the park remains remarkably quiet, particularly in the sites located further back from the entrance. On-site parking is plentiful, and the layout of the grounds allows for easy maneuvering of various RV sizes. The surrounding area of Clinton County is rich with history and natural landmarks, providing a perfect base camp for those looking to explore local state forests or attend regional events like the Little League World Series in nearby Williamsport.
To ensure a comfortable stay, Holiday Pines Campground offers a variety of services tailored to the needs of modern campers while maintaining a focus on affordability. The owners are known for their hands-on approach, often personally escorting guests to their sites. The services offered include:
- Full hookup sites (Water, Electric, and Sewer) and Water/Electric only sites to suit different equipment needs.

When deciding on a campground in Central Pennsylvania, Holiday Pines is worth choosing for its authentic, "no-frills" approach to the great outdoors. It is a location where the value of the experience far outweighs the cost, especially for those who prefer a quiet, wooded setting over a busy commercial resort. The "older side" of the park contributes to its charm, offering larger-than-average sites that provide a level of privacy often missing in newer developments. It is an ideal stopover for travelers on I-80 who need a reliable, level spot to rest, as well as for families who want a safe and engaging environment for their children to explore.
The attentiveness of the owners is a recurring theme in guest feedback, with many noting that the staff goes out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay, even for late arrivals. Furthermore, its location at the gateway to the PA Wilds means you are minutes away from Bald Eagle State Park and the Pine Creek Rail Trail. Whether you are here for the hiking, the fishing, or simply to sit by a fire and listen to the pines, Holiday Pines Campground provides a classic Pennsylvania experience that keeps generations of families returning year after year.

Fantastic little rv park. Super nice and love their little shop/ camp store. It's in the older side. But, there is still so much for kids to do. We stayed one night passing through on a water electric site. We chose it over FHU because it had a level concrete pad. We're in a motorhome with no levelers and on day 4 of our trip. Just dumped on the way out. Easy easy. Nice and quiet. Cheaper with cash. Offer vet/mil and AAA discount. Can't beat the price and lack of highway noise. Will definitely stay again!
This campground looked like a nice place from their website description and pictures.Their website says they have WIFI and a laundry facility. WiFi was so weak I could not find their router on my phone or computer. I had to walk up to the office in order to SEE their router. I could not connect. My site was located adjacent to the office where I would expect the signal to be the strongest. The laundry facility was closed due to "broken pipe". Our full hook-up site had terrible water pressure. Prior to our arrival, We tried multiple times to call and ask about an early arrival. No answer, no return call. We arrived and were charged an extra $10 per site for early check-in and the park was nearly empty!! Not Fair!! Not right!!The area around the office looks like a dumping site for old broken equipment and construction material.I cannot recommend this campground. It will NOT be on my list for another visit.
Stayed here for one night layover. My trailer and truck is about 45-50' long. It doesn't look like there's been a lot of care there for awhile. Didn't use the pool or bath house so can't remark on those. However if you do have a longish trailer and just staying over night, you probably want to look elsewhere. This is an older campground. The roads around the sites are gravel and narrow. Sites are not well marked and difficult to get into with a longer trailer. Trees were cut down but the stumps never removed so you have to avoid those.Plus there are big rocks lining one curve of the road which mad it extremely difficult to maneuver unfortunately for my friend who damaged her truck. Not a campground i would visit again.
Coming in after a long day on the road and very spotty service, I was able to talk a short time, then leave a telephone message and reserve 1 of the 2 concrete pads with water and electric that make it easy (and level) for overnight guests. She then called me back and left a message to confirm. Used the dump station before we left. They have excellent cell service because they have a tower on the property. We were able to watch streamed tv. Very clean and quiet.
Nice stopover place along I-80. We made a reservation over the phone about a week out, and they were able to accommodate us for one night ( Saturday) which is many times hard to get. They delivered firewood right to our site. Staff seems great, good value here.
