Choosing Irish Valley Campground is worth it for those who value a personalized, high-touch service experience over the corporate feel of larger resort chains. The manager, Cheryl, is widely regarded for her hospitality, often going above and beyond by providing guests with local road updates or even lending fishing poles to those who forgot their gear. This level of care creates a "home away from home" feeling that is rare in modern travel. For families, the safety and quiet of the park are major draws; the strict adherence to quiet hours and the peaceful atmosphere make it a reliable choice for parents who want a secure place for their children to play.

Furthermore, the value offered here is significant. With reasonable camping fees and inclusive amenities like a free dump station and well-maintained showers, it is an affordable way to experience the best of Central Pennsylvania. The proximity to Knoebels and the AOAA means you can enjoy world-class entertainment and adventure during the day while retreating to the silence of the valley at night. Campsite is a bit unusual; lots of long-term (semipermanent?) RVs there, but there is a group campsite set apart from the main campground and some spots for tent camping in the main campground. Good facilities (flush toilets and shower house, laundry options, well-constructed pavilions for shelter in case of rain while tent camping, playground, plenty of campfire wood and ice available for purchase). Good cell service (for Mint anyway). Cheryl, the manager, is amazing; readily available by phone, hospitable and friendly, and she made sure we had everything we needed for a good stay from the time we showed up to our departure.

Cheryl is a sweetheart and made sure we got there with ease and that we had everything we needed. Even called to let us know one road had an accident and gave us fishing poles. We will definitely be returning!

Spent Fourth of July weekend here with family. Wonderful place! Neighbors are very friendly. Owner walked around giving all the kids crafts to do and check on everyone. Firework display was done by campers but it was one of the best ive seen. Hope to come back very soon as a resident.

Just took the family here for thier first camping trip. We stayed in a tent for 4 nights. I am assuming the woman who checked us in was the owner. She was extremely friendly. She checked in with us occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed and to tell us about different things going on in town. Hot showers and laundry available and the place was clean, quiet and everyone there was friendly. There is a small pond that you can fish in on site. They sell firewood for campfires on site at very reasonable rates and they even brought it to our campsite for us. Very nice place. We will definately be back!
