Kayuta Lake Campground and Marina is located at 10892 Campground Rd, Forestport, NY 13338, USA. This strategic location puts it approximately 30 minutes north of Utica and 35 minutes south of the popular tourist destination of Old Forge. Accessing the campground is straightforward via Route 12, though local travelers are advised to follow specific directional signage rather than relying solely on GPS, which can sometimes lead to dead-end lakeside terraces. The property is nestled along the shores of the 422-acre Kayuta Lake, a freshwater gem known for its calm waters and excellent fishing. The lake itself is roughly 5 miles long, providing ample space for motorized boating, kayaking, and canoeing.

Accessibility is a top priority for the facility, ensuring that the Adirondack experience is inclusive for all guests. The campground features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, accessible parking lots, and designated accessible restrooms. The terrain, while beautifully wooded, is managed to allow for easy navigation for those with mobility aids. Furthermore, the park is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly, fostering an environment of respect and belonging for a diverse range of visitors from across the state and beyond.

Choosing Kayuta Lake Campground and Marina is worth it for those who value a balance between "roughing it" and modern luxury. One of the most compelling reasons to choose this park is the sheer variety of options available; you can enjoy a primitive-style wooded campsite or a luxury cabin with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The park's reputation for being "immaculate" is a significant draw for travelers who have been disappointed by less-maintained facilities in the past. From the well-kept restrooms to the professionally managed marina, every aspect of the park reflects the owners' dedication to quality.

Furthermore, the location provides a perfect "base camp" for exploring the wider Adirondack region. You can enjoy the peace of a 10-foot-deep fishing lake in the morning and be in the heart of Old Forge's tourist attractions by the afternoon. The sense of community fostered through the active event calendar also makes it an ideal choice for families with children, as there is always a safe and organized activity to participate in. For New York residents looking for a reliable, clean, and fun-filled outdoor experience, Kayuta Lake Campground and Marina stands as a top-tier choice that truly delivers on the promise of where memories are made.
