Our family truly enjoyed our stay — the atmosphere and amenities were wonderful. However, I wanted to share a concern from our recent visit.Noise from neighboring campers kept us awake well past quiet hours — about four hours beyond the designated time. While I understand guests come to relax and have fun, this level of disturbance made it difficult for us (and likely others) to rest. What added to the issue was the lack of after-hours communication. I walked to the main building, as instructed during check-in, to connect to Wi-Fi and contact staff, but the building was closed, and I could only leave a voicemail. On my walk back, I realized how concerning this could be in a real emergency when Wi-Fi or staff access is unavailable. For safety and guest experience, I’d suggest K-Camp consider extending Wi-Fi coverage to campsites or having security personnel patrol or remain near the main building after hours.Aside from this incident, our family had a wonderful time, and we appreciate the hospitality.
We booked two cabins for two nights at this campsite from 8/27/25 to 8/29/25. One of the main reasons we chose this location was because it advertised kayak rentals on-site. Unfortunately, upon check-in, we were told that kayaks were not available for rental during our stay. This was very disappointing since kayaking was a key part of our trip plans, and it forced us to travel to another campground just to rent them—causing both inconvenience and lost time. The cabins themselves were fairly plain, and while the site location was decent, nothing really stood out as special. For the price charged per cabin, we honestly expected more in terms of amenities and overall experience. At check-out on 8/29/25 at 11 AM, one of my relatives returned both cabin keys to the front desk. The rest of us remained by the cabins for just a few minutes, casually chatting about where to go for breakfast before leaving. Within five minutes, a young female staff member drove up in a golf cart and asked where we had been staying. She then told us that after check-out, guests are not allowed to linger on the property. While we understand policies must be followed, the interaction felt unnecessarily abrupt and made us feel targeted—especially since it was only minutes after officially handing over the keys.Overall, between the lack of kayak rentals, the underwhelming cabins, the high prices, and the uncomfortable experience at check-out, this stay did not meet our expectations.
I recently stayed at Luke's Landing and had a terrible experience. Despite being told that quiet hours were strictly enforced after 10pm, my group was kept awake until 4 am by neighboring campers who were playing loud music, had bright lights/car headlights facing our camp and disco lights. I was unable to find any staff on patrol or at the main office to address the issue, and the posted helpline went unanswered. I had asked the neighbors multiple times to please lower the volume and turn their lights off but to no success. To add to the disappointment, the field near our campsite was littered with deer scat. The next day, we were scheduled for a tubing trip. We were bussed out to the launch point only to be told by a participant in the water that conditions were terrible. After asking the staff what was happening, they advised that the trip was canceled due to poor river conditions. While Kittatinny did refund us for the tubing, we ended up leaving a full day early because of the overall poor experience. We were still charged for the entire stay, which I find unacceptable and unfair. I have spent over $400 on a ruined weekend and am requesting a full refund.I have attempted to contact management and am awaiting a callback The attached photos & videos were taken at 3am, I have other photos & videos that can be provided to management once they reach out.
We had a really great time staying on the Mountain Side for Labor Day Weekend. The stream was beautiful clear water flowing through stones and rocks loudly with several walking bridges and a driving bridge crossing it.The bathhouses were fine, only the mens showers near the playground were working and hot, both womens showers worked. There was loud partying until 3-4am a little much. Campgrounds were overflowing with happiness and good energy.Parking at your campsite, roads had some pot holes, drive with care. Come and go as you please.Trash seemed to be picked up from campsites in the mornings.Campsites all seemed to have picnic table, fire ring, and trashcan. Almost everyone was tent camping during our stay.We didnt see any animals, other than 4 vultures after everyone left. Some bugs but, less than we expected. No cell service for probably 30 minutes in every direction so plan in advance or stop at a business with wifi.Staff was nice, store was busy, had most of the things we needed.
First time coming here. Everyone in our group loved it. It was a unique riverside experience unlike any other camping trip we have ever been on. Plenty to do for the kids and the water activities(tubing/kayaking) offered on the Delaware was super fun for us adults as well. Definitely coming back.
