We had a great time camping at this campground ( except for the biting flies) . The restrooms were well maintained and the lake itself was gorgeous. We were in Newcomb ,New York for the Teddy Roosevelt Days festivities. Love the Adirondacks 💗
First time staying in a NY state park campground. Very well maintained all around and a beautiful setting. Close to a lot of beautiful hikes. Would definitely come back again.
wonderful off grid campground. well maintained. close enough for day trips to old forge, inlet, long lake or lake George.
I was there once a long time ago. It was a State Park, and Campground then. A beautiful place indeed. Rest rooms were okay, plenty of potable water. Fire pits were handy as were picnic tables at each campsites. The picnic area near the beach is an amazing place for stargazing. One moonless night there I saw trees throwing shadows by the light of the Milky Way.
